Good Morning, Y'all. It's another hot one here. I put out extra ice cubes and water for the strays a bit ago. Hope everyone's having a good day. @Texas Beth glad you got the AC fixed. It always seems to go out at the hottest part of the year.

Just had an extra loud blue jay at the feeder (which is empty), and Shannon was really wanting to get outside to visit with it. She's so much more lively than she was before the surgery, it's really good to see her doing better and getting back to her old self.

Been a rough patch and I'm just popping in to say hi before lying back down. I ran errands yesterday and almost got into an accident. Thankfully, the truck in front of my was paying attention, and was able to maneuver around so I had room to not hit him. Guy in truck in front of him decided to just turn on a whim, into our lane...crazy people. Thankfully, we all made it home alive, even the dumb driver.

    Have a nice day, y'all!

Oh @Ina I. Wonder sorry, I didn't answer you, I couldn't find this thread..It wasn't showing up. I am dog sitting. The owner doesn't seem too anxious to pick up the dog,,but he really doesn't fit into my lifestyle that well. I don't want to be walking a dog 3x a day. I have the invisible fence here,,,and if I could just let him out...that would be great, but he is too little for that.

Good Morning to everyone, I hope y'all have an awesome day. We had some big time storms last night that knocked out the internet and the TV One huge clap of thunder over the house scared me and the kitty half to death! Today seems calm in comparison...but it is gonna be a hot one for sure!

Mornin'. Today promises to be cooler, sunny and drier than yesterday. We got a hellacious storm yesterday afternoon. Wind and tons of rain. Streets were flooded, trees blew down, quite a mess. Thank God I didn't have to be out in it, like some of my kids.
I just checked my appointment book. Looks like I'm free all day, in case anyone wants any expert advice in most anything. Obama, you getting this?
Wasn't much on TV last night, so I had to watch American Picker reruns. Ho hum.
Is it just me, or was there really more good stuff on TV back in the days when we only had 2-3 channels?
Well, i'm gonna get another coffee and check out Facebook to see what mayhem my offspring are into.
If you go out today, wear your "Make America great again" cap and P O the liberals. An N R A cap does it too.:)

Just my opinion of course Ike, but I preferred when we had 3 channels, now they have to fill up all that space with junk :p

Good Morning, Y'all. Happy Thankful Thursday. The sun's out and there are some clouds in the sky, but I don't think we're due anything severe. I often say the same thing about not much to watch, although I do like several TV shows. It's really difficult to select a good movie these days, even harder than picking a TV show to watch, I think. It seems most in Hollywood like to insert their beliefs in their work, which is fine if they label it as such, but they don't. Imagine all of the crap kids these days have been subjected to, without even realizing it. Those without aware parents are indoctrinated. One of my nieces is a follower, unable to think for herself, and it's sad to see.

Hope everyone's having a great week, and getting ready for an even better weekend!

Mornin'. We're in for some warm, sunny weather for awhile. Ok with me, I guess. Hope it's nice for you all.
It's pretty bad for France though. Really bad. I think it's way past time for some carpet bombing to begin, on known targets.
Tonight is race night. My great grandson and his mom are helping get the car ready in the photo below. No first place win yet, but some second places.
Watched a good movie last night. "Remember" with Chris Plummer. Has a surprise ending. Really good. I highly recommend it.
Well, I have to go on a mission. My orders just came and I'm to go out, find liberals and ruin their day. :)

Good morning, All! It's going to be another scorcher today for sure... mid 90s. Where is my beloved fall?!

As I write, I'm munching down on breakfast... well maybe I should be a little more honest and say "pigging out" on breakfast... did a quick run to the farmers market this morning... got a lot of great produce *but* I also got my breakfast... the best broccoli salad this side of the Mighty Miss'ip and half of a ShooFly Muffin. Is it silly to be proud that I cut it in half when the rest of breakfast is much too heavy?! Kind of like ordering a Big Mac and diet Pepsi because you're dieting!

I'll be making my menu and store list today for tomorrow, laundry, 8 hours of work, writing a letter to my parents (a weekly event) and... trying to keep cool, I guess. My workers are once again banging around at the back of the house with the carport roof they're building. Sure takes long to build a simple roof to keep snow off of the landing and car! I'm assured that the roof will hold "up to 3 feet of snow" without collapsing. I guess if we get 37", I have a problem. :)
