Mornin'. Another late start for me. Got up and running at 6am. We had a big storm last night. Lots of rain, wind and lightning. It was awesome. I hope anyone in it survived without any damage.
Another weekend, just a few hours away. Lots of fairs going on in my area. I loved that stuff when I was a wee snot. Not so much as I got older.
I ain't had breakfast yet. Woke up not hungry. Think I'll eat a breakfast biscuit and get another coffee. That will hold me till later.
Well, the libs are stirring on Facebook. I gotta go and do battle with them. If you're on Facebook, change your avatar to Trump's photo. That way, you don't have to hunt libs. They come to you.

By 'running' I mean to the bathroom. I can be pretty fast in those short sprints. Not so good in the long hauls though.:)

Good Morning everyone! At least I think it's morning. By the look outside it looks like it is about 8pm! It is a dark, dark day. Of course there is so much foiliage around here, that it often is darkish even if it sunny outside, which it certainly is not today!:) Anyone, trying like heck to get a mystery shop done today so it goes on this months payroll. Easier said than done though..I have to get this woman on the phone first! Have a good one!!:):):)

Good Morning, y'all, and happy Friday. I can hear the cicadas through the single pane windows. I like hearing the sounds of nature, but the sounds of the neighbors? Not so much. At least it's been a quiet day here so far, other than barking dogs and yelling neighbors. They probably think they're being friendly, yelling across the street to others, but I don't like hearing yelling. it's trash day again, so that's out, everything's scooped and cleaned, and I've had breakfast already. The hands aren't doing so well today. I wore them out yesterday, so today and the next few days will be rough ones, but at least I can type today.

Hope everyone's having a good day and is gearing up for a pleasant weekend.

I sure hope it's a good morning for everyone. I had an enormous tree down from a recent storm. It broke off about 20 feet up. Three big limbs are over a foot diameter, I started to cut it up but decided it was too much for me, so I hired someone to do it. They offered to cut it up and drag it to the area where I burn brush for $250. I thought that sounded reasonable so I said okay. They plan to do it a week from today.

Cooler and drier weather for us this weekend. I got no plans. Only got a half load of laundry I might do when the mood hits me. But right now, no.
Anyone watch the opening of the Olympics? I watched the movie '13 hours' instead. Everyone should see it before they vote.
We got fairs going on now. Lots of people going to the fair, where they fight their way through crowds to pay too much for greasy food that will probably make you puke if you eat it before you go on the rides. There, I just talked myself out of ever going again.
So, be careful out there. Those tolerant libs are getting intolerant. :D

Sorry Patsy Faye, believe me, I know what it is like to have the blues...in a decent mood today though. I woke up quite early before 7AM but didn't get up right away. I find it just makes the day too long when I get up too early. It's supposed to be a hot one here today. I was busy all day yesterday, and have plans for tomorrow, so today, I plan to just hang around the house...working online, and perhaps taking a swim. I think it might rain though..gotta check the forecast..Have a good one!!:):):):):)

Must be catching. Real slow moving around. Might have overdone it yesterday at work.
Put on a movie, found the kitchen for coffee. We got our order from Angelino's ( k-cups ) and the Kona blend is nice as usual.
Stay cool people and enjoy the day.

image.jpg Good morning everyone, we've cooled off some, upper 90's all week! After 111 degrees, 97 feels good.

Hope everyone that's blue cheers up, not always easy....I know. This has been one of my worst summers in a very long time.

Good Morning, and Happy Saturday. It's quiet and peaceful in my 'hood right now, in contrast to the late night shouting and loud whistling into the early hours. Next door neighbor lost his dog somehow. I can't imagine how that keeps happening, other than the door being opened and the dog running out, as dogs will do. The sheers are filtering the sunlight shining through the leaves, it looks as if it's dancing. Hope everyone has a nice day.

Good Sunday Morning, Y'all. I don't see any posts since my last one, so perhaps everyone's taking a day of rest. I didn't sleep in, but have been off accomplishing a few things before I got on the computer. I decided to vacuum the bedspread, since two kitties like to spend a lot of time up there. I'll wash it too, but figured it's better to vacuum it first, so the washer doesn't get clogged. I still take my bedding outside sometimes and 'beat' it and then let it air out for a bit. It's been hard to do that this year, though, because we've had a lot of rain, and sometimes the storms/showers just pop up out of nowhere. I realized a while ago (I'm still in my nightgown) that I had my nightgown on inside out. Guess I gave the neighbors a show earlier, if they were watching, while I was out feeding the strays. Oh well :confused::p;). Have a nice relaxing day, y'all!

I gave up my Keurig awhile back. It just wasn't practical for me. I tend to drink at least two or three cups of coffee at t time, and those K cups get absurdly expensive. Also, when you put regular coffee in their little filter it always makes a mess. I know they have models of Keurigs now, that let you make a carafe at a time, but I am fine with a less expensive machine. My ex insisted on getting me a new coffee maker though..as this one turns off after 2 hours, and my other one did not. It is nice not to have to worry about whether or not you left the coffee pot on for sure!
