Mornin'. Up since 4:30am. Got coffee, ate a breakfast biscuit that Jimmy Dean brought me. Got caught up in some posts on the 'net. Still poking around, looking for a liberal to fight.
We got a nice string of weather ahead of us. Hope there are no surprises.
No Friday night races. Track was too wet.
So, my appointment book shows nothing on tap for a few hours. 13 days actually. That's a few hours, ain't it?
You all behave this weekend, and have a nice weekend. Is it possible to have a nice weekend while behaving? I never could but, let me know how you all do.:D

image.jpeg @Joe Riley & @Tim Burr, I wonder who is the female equivalent of Bob Cratchet would be?

@Ike Willis if we lived closer to each other I wonder what kind of mischief we could get into? We might have to hold one another up, but I bet we could cause enough havic to get a few giggles.

@Patsy Faye , it early in the day, so your here nor there mood has plenty of time to become whatever you might wish for yourself.

Here, we are getting some rain and hopefully a little relief from the heat and humidity.

"Morning has Broken--like the first morn- or ning." Cat Stevens...aka Yusef Islam. Anyway, I pray this is the last really hot humid spell.. Not nice out there, not at all. I will be hunkered down in the AC no doubt, but I think I am going to take a hot swim toward evening time. Wondering if there is any preason football on? That would be fun to watch!

Good Morning, Y'all. @Patsy Faye thank you for the link. I'm going to look into them. Does the malt do something to help also?

As Ina said, we've got rain on the way, but it looks as if it could be dangerous, with flooding. It's the same front that has caused flooding in Mississippi and Louisiana. <---I did that without a drop of coffee, no typos! I'm so proud :D:p

I'm in a rush, sitting here while my hair air dries, at least somewhat. I made a mistake and robbed Peter to pay Paul, then found out Paul didn't accept Peter as a payment source, so I'm off to the bank to rectify the issue in a few minutes. I'm hoping there isn't a bunch of Summer holiday traffic in Kemah...hopefully the weather will scare people off. Everyone I'd call in an emergency is out of the state currently, so fingers are crossed for a safe trip there and back. Hope y'all have a good day.

    @Ina I. Wonder :)
Mrs. Scrooge's kindly housekeeper, Francine, the female equivalent of "Bob Cratchit."

Mrs. Scrooge is a charming musical adaptation of the Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol" but since the genders are reversed, most of the major and minor leads are for females. There are also many supporting roles/chorus parts for children, teens and adults.

I loved the 'original' Scrooge with the wonderful Alastair Sim
He can never be beaten in that role
Mrs. Scrooge ? Maybe will be a good 'un ......................

I didn't know malt helped with relaxation. I do know that I feel very relaxed after having a chocolate malt, though I attributed that to it being so yummy. I'll have to remember to pick up some malt powder next time I go shopping, maybe I'll make my own here at home next time.

Looks like the next game is Seattle vs KC at 4:30 et. My Titans play later tonight.
Hoping for a good year. Of course, I say that every season.

@Joe Riley you amaze me at times. Are you a literary professor? Where does all that odd, convoluted, information come from?

I have NFL all access so I am watching Packers vs Cleveland, maybe I will catch the later game too. My Redskins bit the dust in the first pre season game..but Cousins looked fantastic. Their passing game is really pretty darn good, but I fear they may have an issue with the running game. They had a quite successful season last year, but we sooooo want a Superbowl appearance here!
