Good Morning, Y'all. I've been out killing and pulling weeds. The killing section was much larger, the pulling just about 3' square. I'll do the rest after the treatment takes effect. I need to pick up some more vinegar. Looks like rain the next 3 days, which is why I ran out to do it today, so it could set a bit, before being washed away. I made a big cup of coffee and am drinking that now, then I'll take a bath and start my day. Hope y'all are having a good one. Congrats to your grandson, @Ike Willis, it'll be great if he can make a little money on the side with the racing. Does your building do any sort of recreational activities/shot trips? I can't handle all day things myself, let alone all day/night, but I do appreciate getting out of the house now and then.

@Ina I. Wonder Yes, that's how I got there, a friend and I used to take some drives up 146 several years back, just exploring. I considered moving over/up that way, but then the money ran out, and here I sit. Hwy 146 is going to be a nightmare soon, it'll be under construction for about 5 years, but down on my end. I doubt it will reach up that far. I'm on the East side of it, so will need to cross it to get to the 'mainland'. We're mainland over here, not an actual island, but it doesn't always seem so, since we are cut off by Hwy 146.

Yes, my building has day trips to a casino, bingo, quilting, Bible study, cookouts. There's other stuff going on from time to time.
I'm the anti-social type though, and keep to myself. I haven't been out of the building since my last doc appointment two months ago. And yet, I'm perfectly happy.:)

Mornin'. It looks to be a beautiful day. High only 75, clear and sunny. It would be a great day to be outdoors. Two of my sons are fishing. I used to do that.
Couldn't sleep much last night. Was awake off and on all night. Mostly on.
At one point, I got up and did a chore I forgot to do earlier. Later, I watched the movie "The war wagon". I hate it when they make what could be a good movie, then fill it with inaccuracies.
The hero, John Wayne's character, says the enemy are armed with Henry rifles and Colt revolvers. Fine. However, Henry rifles were .44 rimfire's. All the outriders in the film were wearing cartridge belts with long, bottle necked rifle cartridges in the loops.
The .44 rimfire was anemic, even as a pistol cartridge, using a 215 grain bullet and up to 28 grains of black powder. The .44-40 cartridge as used in Colt revolvers threw a bullet weighing up to 217 grains, powered by 40 grains black powder.
The rifles these movie characters carried weren't Henry's at all, but were 1892 Winchesters, which were all chambered for pistol cartridges, except for the .25-20 version. Therefore, the cartridges in the belt loops these guys were all toting would never fit the rifles.
I notice things like that. I count the shots too. In some movies, a six gun just never runs out of ammo.
At some point, I got tired of picking the flick apart and fell asleep, waking up at 6am.
So, I'm drinking coffee and thinking about donuts for breakfast. I have no donuts. I have no egg like liquid (egg beaters) either, having used the last yesterday. I have no sausage either. Got cereal, but no milk. :(
Maybe I'll see if I can get back in rehab. At least, they fed us well.

@Ike Willis , you sound like my Michael did. He use to pick movies part too. He even read all the credits that use to run after the movie. He would drive me crazy with it. Now that he's gone , I find myself doing it for him.

    Ike ! I remember that film, I didn't like it !
Is that Bruce Dern above ? If it is, even 'he' couldn't save it
He is GREAT and was superb in the film 'The Cowboys' with John Wayne - such a good movie
Have you seen that one Ike ? :)

Good morning everyone, finally only double digits today.... 99!

I slept the best I've slept in a long time last night and so did Pickles. I still am a restless sleeper according to my fitbit but at least I got a solid 6 hrs I think.

Have to go to the store which I hate doing on Sunday but I'm out of a few things and tomorrow morning, the Rat people are coming to see what was caught in my attic. It's been almost 2 weeks since all the holes in vents were fixed so hopefully I'll leave a rat free house when I'm gone for more than a month.

    Have a great Sunday!

image.jpg @Patsy Faye , here is my sleep pattern last night and I feel this was my best night in 2 months, no wonder Pickles and I are so tired all day!

I'm glad I didn't wear my fitbit all summer, it would be probably 2 hrs solid sleep.

@Yvonne Smith ...if you have a fitbit like this, what are the hrs I'm sleeping? Light blue or dark blue?

I think the red is when I actually got out of bed.

Yes, I've seen 'em all. Bruce Dern is one of my favorites. I even like Laura Dern.
