Thanks and lol...I wasn't going to waste an opportunity after I dragged the big ladder in and got up on it...
Mornin'. It's 5:15am. 61 degrees. Overcast. Rain likely tomorrow. Woke up at 1am but couldn't find anyone to fight with online. That's one advantage to being married. When you need to fight, you have someone handy at all times. I can't think of any other advantages at this moment. Maybe later something will come to me. Well, once again my appointment book has a blank page. Gotta take out the recycling stuff. I'll pencil that in for 9:16am. That slot is empty. So, I guess I better check some of my liberal traps. I baited 'em early this morning. Some must be sprung by now. Later.
Not long at all...I've heard the clique has ways of getting deplorables banned, lol. Besides I've noticed that they only check snopes if it's a post by a conservative. I've read so many untruths on there recently and they're all accepted as truth and even QFT'd. One poster on there does nothing but spam with lies about Trump... Anyway, Good morning everyone! Still nice weather here. I actually had to put slipper socks on this morning and turn off the overhead fan. My throat is slightly achey this morning hope it goes away or maybe I'm just feeling for my daughter who said she had a sore throat over the weekend....like those men who get morning sickness when their wives are pregnant, lol. Have a great day everyone! I feel my depression lifting each day that the weather is cooler. Im glad The Wellbutrin was so expensive and I didn't get it because my depression was situational and seasonal probably. It was a tough summer...mom died, had rats, AC died, lost a friend or two over a misunderstanding, I was home a lot more by myself....it all added up to my meltdown. Now I'm excited about fall and then the holidays and going to Illinois for Christmas!
Good Morning Everyone! I hope you all slept well. A night where I actually had to shut the window...woohoo! I told myself I wasn't going to get on the computer before 9AM, because I have other things to do, am an internet addict, near the end of my bandwidth for the month and once I start online, I stay on, well it didn't actually work! I resisted until about 8:45 though, unless you count the survey I took on my kindle, I bigtime need to get some groceries today, as I was busy yesterday...I always panic when I am out of fruit..Have a good one everyone!
@K E Gordon - Only one thing to say to yer post - Ha ha ! @Chrissy Page - You're sounding great Chrissy, makes me so happy to see you that way, keep going on that road me darlin'
Morning All. I know the weather is changing, got a couple of calls already asking if I could check their HVAC units to be sure they switch over to the Heat mode. Don't really mine. Most are on a fixed income and my labor rate usually is paid by baked goods or some canned jams/sauces etc. If I charged them money, I would just blow it on something stupid. I'll be enjoying some treats and they will have a safe, warm winter. It's always a Win-Win situation.
Good Morning, Y'all. It's a beautiful day outside. I took the kitties out for a bit, but we were being surveilled by a squirrel in the pecan tree behind me. It was chuffing away, and the kitties wanted to jump into the tree after it, so I brought them inside. Something's acting up, and I'm not feeling well. It's probably allergy related, and my whole body is inflamed, so I might end up napping later, after a nice epsom salt bath. I'm glad you're feeling better @Chrissy Page. I always feel better in the cooler weather, other than these flares. Have a great day, y'all!
Last year I don't think I even put my heat on until December. I resist until the temps gets quite low. I can tolerate cold much better than heat.. I have a fake woodstove thingy which keeps the bedroom warm and I use a heater in the living room as well, plus an electric blanket. When we get a real cold snap though I will put it on. It is not right to have cold hands in your own house..but I love having a low electric bill. I haven't used the Central AC here for a month or so, and I think the bill for the next couple of months will be low..and it's a good thing.
@Tim Burr, I wish you lived closer to me. I have a gas fire place that my husband always took care of. Last winter was my first time to have to set it up to come on automatically. It's weird because everything turns the opposite way, clockwise is off and counterclockwise is on. Plus I'm afraid of blowing myself up. I was in a gas explosion when I was 14, and I'm still wary of them. I would cook a fantastic dinner for you and you wife, and the company would an extra bonus. @Chrissy Page it is good to hear that you are doing better. I worry that you will isolate yourself too much, but I know you really get into the holiday season, so I look forward to your upbeat cheerfulness. I'll probably hide this year as I did last year. I see no benefit in being a downer to those that can be happy. @K E Gordon I'm like you, give me cold weather over heat any day. I've had night sweats every night for over 15 years, cold is good at night for me. I hope to shut my three window a/c units off this month. I just paid $500.00 for last months bill, which is $150.00 more than last year at this time. One more reason to downsize, and move out of Houston to a little town of less than 8,000. @Diane Lane if you need anything please let me know. I know how it is about asking family members. Most of the time they either don't want to hear it, or we just feel bad about adding to their load.
Thanks @Ina I. Wonder and I order you to have fun this Holiday season! I'm sure you're not a downer once you get involved in whatever your family does. Do you all get together? I don't know how spread out your family is but you're close enough to a few of them. I get excited just by getting to wear jammies with snowflakes on them or something else Christmasy.
