I was so hoping some of it would work it's way down to areas that are in such need of it. The weather is coocoo anymore. There was a tornado in Manzanita Oregon, up between Portland and the coast. No one could believe it!
I'm on POF although I haven't really looked on it in years...occasionally I'll tale a peek and see someone sent me a wink or a "hi" or whatever they do...don't even remember. Never reply though anymore....not interested. I did go out with a few years ago and they were all nice guys but no spark.
I miss the days when there was a fireplace where I lived. But next best thing, a video of one, LOL!! If you guys want a crackly fire, and no music, here's a good one I found on my Roku. This guys got a weird avatar but you only see that before you cast the video to your TV (hah, I should talk, LMBO) but he did a neat job filming his fireplace. You can even see him adding wood etc, LOL! :

Love it! @Denise Happyfeet ....I have a gas one in my living room but since I haven't turned it on in since my ex left, I'm afraid to now...don't know what's in my chimney or anything.
I keep thinking I can actually feel the heat from it, LOL! I turn it up enough it really sounds like it's in my apartment I don't know much about the gas ones but that's one thing I miss not havin a "handyman" around to fix such things
Yep @Denise Happyfeet, a handyman is what I need..one with money who takes me places, fixes my problems then goes home. do you think I'll get any replies if I change my profile to that? Hey, I'll have the fireplace playing on one device...the sound of rain on another...it will put me in a happy place for sure. Too bad I have to go out and face the real world!
@Chrissy Page I think you might have something there, with that ad!! I listen to rain, or a fan on my phone at night. And when it's quiet and I am fiddling on here, LOL! That darn tinnitus drives me nuts. It's like silence is my worst enemy so I have to have some sounds going on. When I'm out and about it doesn't bother me Sounds of life etc,
Good Morning, Y'all. I hope everyone's doing well. I'm not going to read all of the posts because I keep losing connection. Little sleep again last night, the usual. I'm considering making coffee, but don't have enough energy yet . I'm so glad I put this tea station up here. It's used a lot more than my kettle downstairs now. I still use that one for hot chocolate and the occasional cup of tea or french press coffee, but this one's in use constantly. It's a pretty day here, but I think I'll be inside, because it seems pretty warm out there. Have a nice day, y'all!
If you find one like that @Chrissy Page, see if he's got any single friends/family near me . I'll even do the cooking, especially if he buys a new stove .
Well, actually, when I first screwed in that new bulb it toasted my hair, so I'll be hairless for a time, LOL!!
