Each No-Doz pill contains 100mg of caffeine…same as a cup of coffee. You can call your doc if you are truly concerned. You can always call a friend, take a bus, taxi, train, rickshaw, donkey, hot air balloon, kite, etc
Maybe I will call my dr. Need to find out if I can take my thyroid med anyway. Ive had bloodwork before but cant remember.
I just got back from having my lab work done. I always fast, even if they don't tell me I have to. So now, I'm having my first beer of the day and eating potato chips.
Lucky You! I dont have trouble fasting its just the caffeine I need. I dont have to fast when I just do thyroid but this is a full blood panel, etc.
Its 5:30 am here and dark and very windy out so feel especially cosy in bed drinking coffee. I am making a list of things to take to Russia next Wednesday, its a first for me as I don't usually make lists, but I forgot to take so many things last time that I thought I would at least make one though I will probably lose it. Apart from gifts for Lisa there is Christmas pudding, custard, mulled wine and of course about 10 pounds of cheese, all things you can't get there. We will have our own Christmas celebration just before I leave on the 22nd of December for the UK to spend it with my family. Christmas day in Russia is January 7th (Julian calendar) and is not celebrated so much as New Years day, which is a very big event. The 25th December is an ordinary working day there, and not a bank holiday, though some Catholics and others will celebrate it. January 14th is the "Julian" New Years day and is still celebrated by the Orthodox church and some others...................Confusing Have a good day everybody.
Good morning all. It's 5:45 here in the little city on Iowa's east coast. It's also 45 degrees with an 8mph breeze and it's Sunday. Gotta do laundry today. Put it off for 3 weeks. Been wearing all my clothes inside out. But, we can't use the laundry until after 8am because it disturbs those whose apartments are beside the wash rooms. When you live in these HUD buildings, there are plenty of eyes and ears only too eager to rat on you for any infraction, real or imagined. So, behave or be careful all.
I just had blood work done Friday. Doc says a cup of black coffee is fine. Bad news is he confirmed my self diagnosis of Parkinson's. I got some pills to take and he'll see how I'm doing in a month. Weather is good but we had a frost so I had to dig sweet potatoes yesterday. Didn't get many because I planted them so late but we don't need them anyway. 'sposed to start raining tonight and keep raining 'til Wednesday. I love rainy weather. Y'all have a good day whether you want to or not.
