I hope the doc gives you good news @Ike Willis just the little bit of sickness I've had has made me more compassionate towards those who are truly suffering. I hope you can find what is causing the visual distortion. Are you sure there aren't any prankster ghosts in your house
LOL, that hiding place reminds me of a novel I read not long ago by Sue Henry. One of her Maxi and Stretch adventures/mysteries Maxi has a nice motorhome, and she has a friend build a hidy compartment for her shotgun. She never travels anywhere without it
I missed that @Ike Willis ...that's a weird one. Usually meds cause visual disturbances as a side effect...are you taking something new or different? Also, yep the Cubs have to win tonight. This is almost as stressful for me as the election. My son is such a Cubs fan that I can't even imagine him being able to concentrate on his poor patients. Good thing for malpractice insurance...just kidding. He's the best!!
My sister get the aura only as well @Chrissy Cross I already told @Ina I. Wonder about my migraines, but I didn't mention one I had about 2012, that took 5 shots to get rid of the pain. I was out of it in pain, rolling around the emergency room bed. I slept 3 days after those shots. I asked what they gave me, morphine (2 shots) and an anti-histamine,(3 shots).
I did!! Just kidding my gal-friend took me, and stayed right with me, although she had to tell me since I don't remember anything after the shots. When I woke up, I literally had to ask what day it was, lol!
And like @Ina I. Wonder mentioned, doctors don't seem to actually know the cause, or at least have never come up with a sure, fire way to ward one off I've always explained to friends, and family, and doctors, these are NOT head, aches. These are head pains. The blood vessels swell with a migraine, and need to somehow be constricted. I understand that a typical headache is when the blood vessels constrict. I might be wrong, it's been a long time since I've studied up on them. Karim Abdul Jabar was one famous person who got migraine, that I know of. His team members said that they could actually tell he had a migraine because they could see the vessels on his temple swell They are a nightmare.
Mornin'. Well, it's certainly a good morning for all the cub fans, right Crissy? I'm not a fan but I'm happy they finally got it all together. They worked hard and long enough at it. So, it looks like our favorite Dyed blond crook (Hillary) is in even more trouble. My son pointed out that the last time the cubs won a world series a republican won the white house (Taft). My son is an amateur historian. Every crime family gets brought down, eventually. We're living through a historical event. I'll be fascinated as I watch this all unfold. Speaking of watching, when I was growing up and started going through the grades at dear old St. Mary's, I was probably the most watched kid there. My first day in the first grade, mom showed me the way I was to walk. I was instructed to never stray from that route. Three block that way, take a right. three long blocks, take a left, three blocks up hill and you're there. Come home the same way too, young man, ya hear? One day much later, I learned why. I overheard mom talking on the phone about how her friends watched for me to pass their houses every morning. "Same time every day, just like clockwork". They were mom's spies. When my cousin started school, my pattern varied a bit. I was to stop by his house, which was on my way, and walk with him. At first I welcomed his company. Cuz and I were together a lot, him being my mom's sister's boy. Then, it dawned on me why mom insisted I be with cuz as much as possible. It was because he never passed up a chance to rat on me. It was like that all through grade school and high school. I don't know why he was like that. I never ratted on him. I couldn't. He was one of those kids who wouldn't stray from the straight and narrow even if his life depended on it. Once I got older and in high school though, I had new friends and he had his pals. He still knew too much about my doings and made sure my mom found out Though. My dad was ore laid back. As long as no one was hurt or killed and the cops weren't involved, he was ok with it. So, be on guard. Watchers are everywhere.
Good morning all you forum watchers, looks to be a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Hope it turns out to be one for you too!
Morning all. Have a dilemma. I have been contacted by another forum to come back and post. The forum has huge problems people fighting, leaving and at times it turns nasty. Do I just leave it or occasionally post as there are a couple of nice folk there. Do I need the hassle. Ummh. Get my thinking cap on
@Honey Gee - I had the same with another forum, I was there 3 years. If I was looking at joining now, no way would I. Its a cess pit WUMs with a couple of decent folk. Not enough to entice me back there - no way Pedro ! Anyway - good morning Honey
