The cats expression fits an amazed look at the snow falling in front of it's eyes...

Good morning to you all l didn't sleep too well and finally woke up feeling kinda flat, ..... just need some coffee and time for my body to catch up.....
Lisa is getting ready for work, and when she gets back in the afternoon, we are going shopping to the out of town warehouse for some household things.

We are going to Finland for the day on Thursday, it's just to get Lisa's European visa stamped, so not very exciting, we get about 4 hours in the border town of Lappeenranta, which is ok but not so much fun in the winter cold [IMG]

    Have a good Tuesday...

Mornin'. Not too bad out, 16 degrees and partly cloudy. I'll have to take their word for the cloudy. It's still dark out and I can't see any clouds. I'll have to take their word for the 16 degrees too, 'cause I ain't about to go out to verify it. So, there.
Nothing much happened yesterday. Some of the liberal traps I set last evening were sprung this morning, I see. It's always fun to draw those crybabies out. It would behoove them to accept Trump as president and get on with things.
"Behoove". Now there's a word I don't hear much anymore. I first heard that word when I was still in school. High school, at dear old St. Mary's.
There was this Irish farm boy in our class. He used that word all the time. I'll call him DC. Tough little guy. I was bigger, but not by much. Size didn't matter to him anyway. We were kind of friends. That is, we were on friendly terms when we weren't fighting each other. Actually, we never really fought, like fist fights. We usually just wrestled when we had a disagreement, until someone got the other in a head lock they couldn't squirm out of. Then, it was over until the next time.
One day we were on the stage in our school gym. We were looking for the basketballs. One of us found one, the other wanted it, another wrestling match "fight".
During the tussle, we became tangled in the stage curtains, and down they came, rods and all.
I was later getting home after school for a week after that incident. DC got a different punishment because he lived in the country and had to leave when his ride did.
Did that stop us from having so many "disagreements" with each other? Eventually. A few years back, when I still had a car, I ran into him at a laundromat. We had a pleasant chat about the old days, and it ended well.
So, That brings the curtain down on that little tale of mayhem. Don't get caught in any headlocks.

I've used that word in the past, @Patsy Faye but can't really give you a meaning. Haven't heard it in awhile....might be a midwestern thing.

I would use it like this..."it behooves me to tell you...."

I woke up with a crick in my neck and I have to hustle this morning because my home security alarm is on the fritz and the guy from the alarm company is coming at 8:00. I needed this like a hole in my head now when I'm going to be gone a month.
If I was home at id leave it but being away and having no access to my control box worries me. While he's here I'm going to have him check every one on every window and door so they don't go off when they shouldn't.

I also have piles of clothes in every bedroom waiting to be packed, so it's going to be embarrassing since my house usually is in perfect order...now this stranger will think I'm a slob. :(

    Good morning!
