Good morning everybody, it's 11:00 am here a bit slow getting started today, another grey day with a high of no more than 5c about 40f
Lisa's cousin and his wife are coming here for dinner tomorrow evening, so need to do a larger than usual food shop, and some cooking later, it will be mainly Russian dishes such as a traditional salad and herring in an fur coat etc. I am contributing a sort of cottage pie but using chicken instead of beef mince.

Fun all the way. Little above freezing and pouring with rain. Some chap from a call centre has just phoned and in a heavy Indian accent, announced that his name is Malcolm. I told him I was Sachin Tendulkar and he rang off. Life goes on.

Mornin all. 32 degrees at 5:30am with a chance of rain, and snow later tonight. Our weather person changes everything about every hour or so. He went from 1-2 inches to 6-8 and back to 1 to? Me, I'm praying for the 8+ inch snowfall.
So, if you're driving the next day or so, try to keep her between the ditches. :)

Hey, Chrissy, I didn't realize you were CeeCee. I remember you from that other forum that got so full of hateful liberals that I left. A lot of them have come here but so far not the hateful ones, I hope.

Exactly, Sheldon. Me for the same reason. Pretty much everyone is fed up with it. I do still post once in a while.
Started out rainy today and now it's sunny out there. Cooler weather on the way, I'm told.

I think that we all appreciate the friendly atmosphere here, @Sheldon Scott . Even when we have differing viewpoints, we only explain why we think like we do, and no one tries to attack the other person for having a differing viewpoint.
I like that we can actually discuss controversial topics, and it remains a discussion, and not a free-for-all attack which never solves anything, or changes anyone's mind, for that matter.
Listening to other people's viewpoints is a good way to learn new ideas, and broaden our own minds, as long as it is done with consideration for each other.
We have been carefully selecting "lost sheep" that need a new home, and trying to avoid any wolves.
    So far, so good......

50 degrees, or so...I didn't check. Sunny Fall day, and I got to cut the grass for the last time. Ken, take your time and, just like the "Witt-less Protection Program", we all get a fresh start!;)

Mornin' to you all on this snowy Saturday morning. We have 34 degrees with a gutsy wind blowing up to 18+ MPH, Making it feel much colder outside. And, it's snowing, right here in beautiful downtown river city. So, if you're getting snow, drive slow. Or, drive very fast and be on the evening news.:D

One degree (or 34 for those that like old money) this morning. At least the sun has appeared. Time for tea and cryptic crossword. If the body doesn't want to work very well, we can keep the mind exercised.

Pretty music this early morning by the soft voice of an angel, Terry, but the header says Craig Armstrong?? Are you trying to wake me up with confusion? Good psychology. It's working :) . Ike and Tom, stay warm. You two are funny. I do the crossword and jumble every morning too and then call my 90 yr old mother to go over it. She's sharp as a tack.

    It's 34 degrees here. Stay warm everyone…
