Good Morning fellow (and fellow'ette) citizens of the 3rd Rock from the Sun!! Just enjoying a little brekkie of spaghetti, maple syrup, cereal, and the kitchen sink! Yum! Belch! 'scuse me
I say I have faith, but I have to remember God doesn't always allow the things I would rather happen. I am still praying none of the "lefts" antic will make a bit of difference. We won, we didn't cheat, yes, we fought back at the garbage that was thrown at us to try and make them look better. But we didn't have to do that, they did find making themselves look bad, all on their own. Can't help but be stressed a bit over this thing today, today is the day. Another "ploy" bites the dust, I pray Yes, when we were kids @Ike Willis we did have some school closures, but I lived in a place where big snows and ice storms were not a regular thing (Southern Oregon near Roseburg) So when they did hit, we had to learn all over how to function/drive etc. in it. But even if school was closed, it gave us a snow holiday, we were out from sun-up to sun-down, coming in for breaks to dry out, get warm, and go back out Loved it, this helps me to remember the wonderful times I did have My little brother and I, or if we were living near other houses, always other kids to play with
Thanks Babs, just landed in Dallas! I should be at my son's in about 3 hrs. This is only a 1.5 hr flt.
Good morning to you all, it's 7:30 am on another dark dreary day, we woke up early and are waking up as usual with coffee. Lisa has a busy day at the university, and I have a few odd jobs around the apartment to do, one is resealing the bath. Have a great Tuesday....
@Chrissy Cross Hi there - good to hear the Chick has landed ! Chrissy, why are your pictures always sideways on - are you being arty ?
Good Morning. @Chrissy Cross So glad to hear you made it safely to your destination. I wish you and your family a heart full of memories to cherish while you are with them. @Terry Page Oh the weather outside is dreary but let your heart still be merry. Because we all love you so...let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Merry Christmas. Hi @Patsy Faye It's nice to wake up and see you up too. Hope everything is going well with you. And to everyone this morning: A jolly good day!
Mornin'. It's much warmer here in bacon land this morning. We have a balmy 21 degrees ABOVE zero. Might go out and work on my tan later. Lets see, what on my schedule for today. Hmmm, I see some empty slots. From 5am until 10pm seems free. Good. Maybe president Trump will call me about a cabinet appointment. I can leave to meet with him immediately if he does. So, this election only cost me one casualty. One of my grandsons unfriended me over Trump. His parents, my youngest daughter and husband, are hard core 'crats. One out of five ain't too bad. You should see all the whiners that come out from under their rocks after the electoral college vote yesterday. I was checking out the two local news sites and reading some of them. Yes, and responding to some. I can't help it. Show me a fire, I'll throw gas on it. So, at least Obama settled our Russian election meddling problem. He told Putin to just "cut it out". That should scare 'em. I gotta get some breakfast. Later 'gator.
