It's morning yes and cold, again yes. Even the dogs, who rarely decide to share a "comfort space" have decided it's time to turn the heat on in the house.
Mornin'. It's a balmy 36 degrees under clear but dark skies at 1am, here in my 3rd floor penthouse. What am I doing up at this hour, you may ask. Well, first, I had to pee. Then, I realized I felt kind of strange. Sure enough. A quick check showed my blood sugar was back in the danger zone. So, I ate and drank a couple mugs of coffee. Now, the voices in my head are all fired up over John Kerry's speech yesterday and Obama's back stabbing attack on Israel. I realize there are a lot of Jew haters out there. There always will be. But just for fun, imagine every Jew in the world, suddenly transported to another planet like ours. Just suppose, the Jews took every invention and work they did in the development of important systems with them. Life here would suddenly become a much harder and probably shorter affair. Go to a search engine and look up "Inventions by Jews". Then, look up "Inventions by Palestinians". Pretty plain to see who really contributes to humanity. So, I suppose I should try to get back to sleep again, or I'll be spending the day napping.
Good morning it's another cold frosty one here, I finally woke at 7am so a good nights sleep really. I have a project today to teach my 7 year old grandson James (Caroline's son), how to edit and burn videos to DVD that he has started taking on his phone. He sees himself as a movie director at the moment. He is very technically minded and has some borderline autistic traits so tends to become obsessed with his current project. It will be an entertaining day no doubt.... Have a great Thursday whatever you are up to...
@Ike Willis - agree ! The world would be so different without the Jewish community Great tailors and great songwriters for starters !
Good Morning Everyone! A cloudy, gray, breezy day yesterday. I only went out to fill the bird feeders and the 1/4 mile trek to the mailbox and back. Finished one book and started another, worked on a jigsaw puzzle and got through another day.
Yes I agree @Patsy Faye they are very prominent in the arts in the UK, in fact they seem to be good at pretty much anything they turn their hand to.
@Terry Page - you're right ! I smile when I think of them, grew up attending the markets on a regular basis and of course they were a prominent fixture
