Good Morning All Been up for a while, bored, so started watching the HDEV live feed from the ISS. Even went outside at 3 a.m. to catch a glimpse of it passing South of Nashville. Too cloudy. One of the threads on here got me thinking about Space. Enjoy Your Day

It's Friday and the temperature will be dropping all day over her in Cajunland so I'm going to be gathering all the "stuff" to make a pot of homemade soup for the weekend. There's nothing better to warm the insides on cold days. Winter definitely seems to showing off for all of us this year! Hope everyone is staying as snug as a bug in a rug in this cold weather. I think I'll get out the grandkids "slip and slide" and let the water run on it overnight so I can go ice skating in the morning. Whatever your plans today...may they you and those plans be blessed in every way!
I'll have you know my 8 siblings and my children have voted me #1 Soup Maker in our Family! I cannot only make the best soup, but it is also very healthy.
Good morning all! The sun is shining and I am looking to get a good addition to my tan today. Maybe even take a dip in the pool and at some point mow the lawn....yup....gonna be a fine, fine day. Okay, dream's over. It's cold today and will be cold tomorrow and probably cold again on Sunday. humph. The wife looks like she's snuggled up and sleeping in like I should be but for whatever reason I can't seem to make it past 5 AM. All that said, there is one positive move I've made this morning. The doctor is on me about drinking 8 cups of coffee and told me I need to bring that down to one sooooo I decided to ween myself to only 4 for starters. Yeah, it sounds like I'm wimping out which is what I want the doctor to believe cause my 4 cups are 4 very, very Large cups. My next move will be to find me an 8 cup mug. Hmmmmm..come to think of it, the coffee pot is just a thermos so yeah, I could call that one cup and Bingo, I'm down to one cup! Oops, I'd best make another pot because Yvonne will be getting up pretty soon. Have a good one and may God bless.......Bobby
A Walk in the Forest After the school run and putting the dinner in the slow cooker, Lisa, Miro and myself went for a walk in the forest known as Swinley woods locally. It was a lovely crisp sunny winters morning, with the temperature around freezing point, but warm in the sun. We walked for almost 2 hours at a slow pace so covered about 4 miles I guess. Here are some photo's I took. It was misty when we started out, quite atmospheric for photography... Look to right and this was the scene Look to the left and we had this contrasting scene Being near Heathrow there are always many vapour trails in the sky We were surprised to find a decorated Christmas tree on our walk. Yes, and those coffee withdrawals are bummers for sure. I get major headaches, and I only drink 2 cups each morning in my "keep it hot but it doesn't" cup
32 here, burrr! And also, since the cupboards are bare, I have to go grocery shopping, ick! I sure don't like that task, except the part where I get to eat it all
