    th (11).jpg Good morning facebook wallpaper1.jpg DSC_3547_edited.JPG

This morning the weather is chilly once again...but the sun is also shining brightly so it's going to be a beautiful day. My Honey is now off on Thursdays until the road construction is finished and business picks up again. I am glad to have an extra day off with him and today we are going over to my middle daughter's home and play with my youngest daughter's two children while my two daughters go eat lunch and have a little sister time together. My youngest daughter will be heading back to Texas tonight or early tomorrow morning so Papaw and Granny want to spend more time with the grandkids before they leave. :) If I didn't have a Dentist appointment in a few days, I would have gone back to Texas with them. I'm hoping to go back with my daughter's family in April after our Family Reunion Crawfish boil.

I have been doing at least 30 minutes of exercise a day for almost a week now, and the soreness in my muscles, etc. is finally going away. Today my exercise will be taking the grandkids for a stroller ride while I get some walking done in my daughter's quiet neighborhood. I spent alot of yesterday reseaching heart healthy foods, etc. and this morning instead of having my usual sweet treat with a mug of regular coffee I continued with a mug of decaf green tea with a teaspoon of honey. For my sweet treat I baked some Healthy cookies with oatmeal, bananas, applesauce, walnuts and and a few dark chocolate chips, vanilla, and a little almond milk. I didn't have any applesauce so I minced and apple with the peelings in my mini food processor and used that instead...and it worked just fine. You can also substitute raisins, cranraisins, and I'm thinking about trying peanut butter chips in place of the dark chocolate chips. These make good breakfast cookies and are chewy and filled with healthy ingredients but actually taste good too.:)

Good afternoon to all. I hope you're seeing the first signs of spring in your neighborhood. I just know that I'll not be able to stay away from the nursery department at Lowe's for much longer. But I know that Bobert will need some yard tools by next week.

I'm so glad the my Grandson has decided to life here permanently. There has been no pilfering around here since he moved in, except that someone did try to steal my car last Tuesday, but I'm now going to start locking my gate at night.

I need to replace a lot of yard tools that were stolen after my son and husband passed in '14. I still have 2/3's of acer, and Bobert's want to learn the proper ways to care for it. He grew up in Phoenix, AZ. He said they had never lived anywhere that had grass, much less trees. Good thing I studied Horticulture for three years. Last fall I did teach him to use the zero turn lawn mover, but that is all he know about the tasks of yard work, never mind gardening.

Looks like The Creator understood I still needed someone to care about and teach. I am so grateful to have a reason to live aside for just myself. That wasn't working for me, and I give kudos to those that can survive by themselves.

@Patsy Faye , I don't have Fibromyalgia either. But I do have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and seven herniated disk. Four in my neck and shoulder area, and three in my.lower back. When they inflame, sometimes I loose partial control of my arms and legs, and this is generally accompanied with what feels to me like getting rapid low shocks from electricity .

What does your doctor think is causing your pins and needles? o_O

I have just woke up from a doze, after originally waking at 5:30 but feeling I needed more sleep.

I feel flat at the moment and need more coffee. The old saying "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" comes to mind, I always found this to be true for me on past projects which went on for more than a week, I will be glad when the room is finished now because I need to give my attention to other areas of my life and for Me to return........I am still enjoying the work a lot while doing it, but at the end of each day I don't know what to do with myself.....and feel well.......dull.......... In the past I would never have worked this hard for such a long period of time, but it seems possibly the magnesium has given me the staying power at a cost though.....

I will have some time off next week, it's by daughter Caroline's birthday on Monday and the girls are taking me out for a breakfast one day as a Christmas present......part of our Christmas gift deal [IMG]

    Have a great Friday...

Back and neck problems ....................I'm not too sure on that
Neurologists struggle to understand the condition
In my case it is very severe and heat makes the condition worse, all day and night - so I dread the summer, which is a real shame :(

@Ina I. Wonder - the 'odd' thing is, in the winter, I get the pins and needles all over ! especially when its cold !
The good thing is, they don't last - not like the summer
Its certainly a mysterious thing to have

@Patsy Faye, when I first started getting what you call pins and needles, the doctors sent me to a neurologist several times as well, but that wasn't the cause. I too have rheumatoid arthritis, and it mainly it is located in my spine. The inflammation generally occurs in my spine, making the nerves that control my arms, legs, and neck become pinched. This is what gives me what you call pins and needles.

Have you tried getting your doctor to order a MRI on your spine. That's when they finally, (after years), figured out what was causing the pain throughout my body, and the loss of my ability to use my arms and legs. At least it's not permanent. If we can bring the inflammation down, then I can use my arms and legs.

It took years for my doctors to figure things out. I had lost the use of my legs, and it seemed like my whole body was on fire with electrical shocks. Out of frustration, one of the doctors finally ordered the MRI on my whole body, and that's when they finally saw that my spine was the culprit.

It's just an idea, but if I were you, I would ask the doctor to at least check out your spine.

RA is a very painful condition, but it can be helped if you can get your physician to find out if RA is in your spine. RA effects my joints as well. But it seem to be centered in my spine.

So don't give up, and don't except the, "We can't find anything." Like it's all in your head. It's not. They just haven't found the cause yet. Doctors seldom want to admit that "they" just don't know.

@Terry Page , you didn't listen did you when I suggested that you shouldn't push yourself to hard did you? I bet you've always been that way. Me too. My husband use to tell me not to push things just because I knew I could. At times I was my own worst enemy. So my friend, baby yourself for just one day. Your project will wait on you, and you know you'll do a better job if you are feeling well. :)
