Happy Thanksgiving, y'all! I hope everyone is having a nice day. I took a little nature walk this morning, as is my habit on Thanksgiving. I stayed closer to home this time, since the car's acting up somewhat, but it was nice to get some fresh air. It's fairly quiet around here today, which is somewhat unusual, but welcome. Great picture @Terry Page, I love seeing snow. Have a great afternoon/evening, everyone!

Good morning everyone, hope those that celebrated Thanksgiving had a good time. We didn't get the cold night forecast, and today rain is on the way, so all the snow we have will go.
No plans today so will let the day unfold.Enjoy your day.

Mornin all. 39 cloudy, breezy degrees here on the east bank of Iowa. It rained all day yesterday and most of last night. But, the rain is over, I think. It's 4am here and now, and I ache all over. Wet weather does that. But, it could always be worse. Behave yourselves, people. Jail food sucks.:D

Eat fresh steamed kale twice a day for 3 days and see if your pain stops. It has vitamin K which dissolves blood clots but also seems to work for arthritis pain. Won't hurt to try it.

Thanks Lara. Worth a try. Wonder if just taking vitamin K would work?

28 degrees here right now. Freezing rain, sleet, snow, ice mix. Got 1 1/2" rain through yesterday. Not supposed to be back above freezing until Monday. Three days ago it was 65!!!
I'm off work until Monday. Wife has to work today. I'll take her in my truck so she doesn't have to get her car out and I can let her out at the office door. NWS 'Winter Storm Warning' in effect until 6 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, morning.

72 degrees here and a beautiful start to my day. Didn't sleep well, so got up and took a walk. Cool breeze, full moon light, perfect. Good morning everyone and enjoy the day.

Well, this day is off to a bad start. Not only is it an achy start for me, but now I can't find my glasses. I never did find my SS card either. So, guess I better get on with the hunt.

Bucketing down...indoors is the only option.

    A common one:

"Where the hell did I put my glasses?"
"They're on top of your head."
    "Oh."
