Mine was pretty bad but it was my first case of it and don't really know how bad it gets...I was pretty sick though. I've been reading about a very bad flu pandemic coming...
Thing is, she has always had a problem with co-workers coming to work sick. People going to church sick was a major reason we stopped going. Even with getting our yearly Senior Flu Shot, having sick people around us is not good. Her co-workers have PTO to use, but instead, come to work coughing and sneezing? Come on!
Good morning all, it's a fairly cloudy day here at the moment though it's supposed to be sunny later,.........neither of us slept well so we are both tired today, must of been all the excitement of the circus yesterday Miro loved the circus for the first 45 minutes or so but the became bore. Lisa and I didn't really enjoy it for different reasons, she because there weren't enough animal acts, and me because it went on too long (over 2 hours) and I didn't like the performing animals. The first part was spectacular with a laser show and acrobatics, but then it went on with so many more acrobatic acts, it became boring... I will post a few photos later to give you an idea of the show.... Have a good Monday...
@Terry Page, wife and I went to the Ringling Bros. Circus last year, before the elephants were taken out, and thoroughly loved it. We'd been to the same circus when we lived in Colorado. We did see a number of small kids get "fidgety" in their seats. We've always loved going to a zoo and Big Cat sanctuaries. Today, continuing to get ready for the Star Wars Celebration.
Just heard that my niece in Colorado is having a girl for her first child in August. This will make my sister a happy first time grandma. She invited me to the baby shower on June 24th...in Colorado...thinking of going. My niece lives in Parker.
Good morning to you all, it's a sunny morning here, and Lisa is working so I am in charge of Miro. I will catch up on here in between playing with him. Enjoy your Tuesday......
Good morning everyone, 70's here today and most of the week. We were a little warmer last week though. Talked to my daughter in Hawaii and I can forget about going to Colorado for the baby shower because that's when they will be on their European cruise. So, guess I might go out after the baby is born...which is more fun anyway, I need my daughter home because she watches Pickles for me.
Good morning to you all, it's 6:30 am here and all is well, snow is forecast later though it's sunny at the moment, no plans today, just chilling out..... Enjoy your day.....
Good Morning, Everyone ! It is another beautiful day here in Alabama, and should be nice all the rest of the week. I still have some irises to plant, and hope to get out there and plant those this afternoon. The squash in the Aerogarden is looking good and growing fast; so I may set that outside today as well. Robin brought me back some seeds for different varieties of Passionfruit/Passionflower and I want to start those in the Aerogarden. We do have some that are native to this area; but some of the varieties she brought me may not be hardy enough for the winters here. I just have to start some and see how well the vines grow and if they survive and come back again next year, I guess. She also brought us some Costa Rican coffee, which we have not tried yet; but Bobby says he will make some tomorrow morning. I have been drinking the Teecccino herbal coffee instead of regular coffee. It has no caffeine, and you can drink it anytime, and I do like it; but I am looking forward to trying the kind that Robin brought us. In June, she is flying out to Idaho for my youngest grandson's graduation, and she has asked me if I want to go out with her. I would love to do that because it has been almost 2 years since i have been out to see my sons (and families), and the last time we went, it was because my son Michael was having the bypass surgery, so it was all spent at the hospital with him.
That will be a fun trip with your daughter @Yvonne Smith! My oldest grandson is graduating May 25th but my trip is only a 2-3 hr drive. Out of state grandpa and third wife are coming too...not crazy about that, lol.
