Good morning all. It's 30 degrees here on Iowa's east bank. Rain tomorrow. Daughter is coming by later. Don't know what I'd do without her, or the other's too, for that matter.
Gotta check my mail box later. The rest of my bills should be in. So, I'll write checks for them later. That's all that is on my to do list, that I can do for now.
So, you all have a pleasant Sunday. Be nice to people, even the ones you want to choke. At least until tomorrow.:D

Good morning. Still raining here. It's been raining since Thursday night and expected to continue through tomorrow. Not raining hard now, just a drizzle.

    Keep your powder dry,

A typical Scottish all-seasons day. Heavy rain turned to heavy sleet and then, as if by the wave of a magician's wand, blue sky and sunshine. Clouds are rolling back in, so it looks like we'll get another drenching any minute. This is normal.

Good morning, Friends! A little warmer today, high of 63 but still the lows are very low for California....36!

Still at my daughter's, last night we saw the Mocking Jay, Part 2 movie. It was okay. :)

Today some food shopping and maybe out for lunch....sick of TURKEY leftovers.

Have a wonderful day wherever you are and whatever you do. :)

Mornin. More rain for Iowa today. I hope to get to the store sometime today. I crave Canada dry ginger ale. We have a soda machine in the lobby but, it always has the same old crap. Pepsi, Pepsi diet, Pepsi cherry, Pepsi cherry diet, Some kind of lemon soda and root beer.
We had a Coke machine that had more variety, but someone wanted a Pepsi machine so that's what we got. And, they raised to cost to $1 per can.
Two months ago they said we were getting a snack machine, but it must be on the slow boat from China, or wherever it's being made. Don't see it yet.
So, if you live in Iowa, stay dry today. Or, run between the drops.:D

!cid_9DBD6508EA9F4D13B4836949143DECA3@ike.jpg My grandson got his first rabbit with his early Christmas gift, A brand new Remington Model 870 pump action shotgun, 20 gauge. Got it on the run too. He's a happy boy now. Below is a photo of my great granddaughter with her first squirrel, shot with her own single shot rifle. She's a good shot for a young 'un.

G'morning all, from a very wet and windy London.

Day off work for me today thank goodness. :D I was on my knees with exhaustion by the time I'd finished Saturday night ,...really hard long day, and it will get even busier all during December, so these 2 days off are really needed.. back to work tomorrow , and tomorrow night my daughter is flying in from Southern Spain where she lives, for an early family Christmas dinner . We're all going out to one of our favourite restaurants, soon after I finish work...I'll just get enough time to dash home and have a shower, and drive out again 20 miles. to the restaurant. Her business is at it's busiest during December and over Christmas and New year, so this early in the month is the only time she can spare, and she'll be literally flying back to Spain the following day.

Gotta catch up with a few chores today that I'm able to do ( currently I've got a double herniated disc pressing on my sciatic nerve, and waiting on the eternal NHS waiting list for surgery ) so everything take a lot longer to do at home which is why when I do manage to get 2 days off in a row , I have to spend the first day recovering and the 2nd day cleaning ..

Anyway...not looking for sympathy just 'splainin' :D

Whatever your day has got for you today..I hope it's a good one..

A brief stroll this morning tells me that Terry is still directing those perishing east winds directly from Russia to the east coast of Scotland. Brrrr.

In (yet another) moment of utter folly, I offered to compile some cryptic crossword clues. All I have to do now is think up the clues and fit everything into the crossword grid. Why do I make these rash promises?

Good morning everyone! Still very chilly lows in California, the high will be about 60 though.

Grandsons go back to school after a week off. Daughter is off on mondays and I dont know what we are doing yet, I beat her in getting up this morning.

Hope everyone's day ends up great...no matter how it starts.:)

St Andrews Day today, though nobody seems to get too excited by that. There is no national holiday or anything like that. In fact, the only thing I've noticed relative to it is the saltire splattered across my Google search page.
