Not saying small towns in Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and other states close to them don't have crime, but definitely not like the big/bigger cities do. Checking out the local Crime Stats for an area a person is thinking about moving to is a good idea. We didn't do that when we moved here. If we would've know just how much gun violence is here, we sure wouldn't have moved here. But, unfortunately, very good paying jobs are generally located in high populated cities where there is high crime. Currently, we are living in a population of almost 1 million people. When we move, the two cities (actually towns) we are looking at have populations of 24,000 and 28,000 people. Quite the difference.
Yes, it's Thursday and I'm definitely feeling better, but lightly buttered toast and jello have been my food for the last couple of days. Oh, and quite a bit of water. One thing for sure, stomach flu can sure turn a person's stomach "upside down". It had been a long time since I felt the way I did on Monday night and Tuesday.

Since you said you are blue today, I am guessing that the meeting did not go in your favor; but hopefully, the issue can be resolved, and things will look better for you soon. Sometimes, things that seem to go poorly actually lead to something better in the long run, and we will be saying prayers for you and Fabs that things would work out for you both. Good Morning! I'm so full of joy right now I just want to share it with all of you. My daughter and her family in Texas are definitely moving back home to Louisiana! I'm going the first week of May to help my daughter pack and get things neat in their home over there so they can put it up for sale...and by June or July they will be home in Louisiana once again. This has been my heart's desire ever since they moved and God has answered that prayer for all of us....and my heart is so full of joy it's about to burst! Thank You Father. Today I wish for all of you that our heavenly Father will grant you the deepest desire of your heart too. Have a blessed day in every way!

A rather belated Good Morning, at least from here where it's noon already, it seems we managed to cram two days into yesterday, I will post some photos later. This morning Lisa, Katya and Miro have gone to the children's theatre and I am making a spicy cottage pie for lunch. The weather is awful driving snow and slush so I am not tempted to go out.......have a great Saturday......
