Good Morning to ya all! Terry Page, wish we could send you some hot sunshine to melt all that snow. did have thunderstorms last night- but everything here is still standing.
Saturday morning and, "we're gonna get warm, actually very warm" this weekend. I'm redoing some of the photos we took last Saturday at the Star Wars event. My photo software, that came with Windows 10, is the best editing software I've ever used. Unfortunately, if I'd read about which setting to have our camera on while taking photos in a Convention Center, I wouldn't have to do so much editing. Florescent lighting isn't necessary a photographer's "best friend" inside a Convention Center. A person knows when they are getting their "money's worth" from a digital camera when not much editing needs to be done. Wasn't so much the case this time. Oh well, life goes on
Back tracking a bit to yesterday ..........Lisa, Katya, Miro and myself went for a 2 hour walk yesterday morning, which ended up at our local Georgian restaurant for lunch, we ordered rather a lot of food, and brought some back in a doggie bag.... .................... it started snowing heavily while we were eating, but had stopped by the time we had finished.........so we got back to apartment before the next storm came in. In the evening a young couple, (Natasha and Andre) and their 2 year old boy, friends of Katya's, came to tea, so we had more food ...........they were fluent in English and very interesting, Natasha's parents were Georgian, though she had never been to Georgia herself and found their food too spicy. Andre's parents were German and he works at the same university as Lisa. After they left Lisa and Katya went out for a late night walk for a couple of hours and came back at 10pm. A lot of Russian's do these nocturnal walks, and when in the UK, Lisa and Katya go for late walks in Bracknell forest in pitch darkness with no fears at all....... Selfie time... A view from the window
Wow...wish we Americans took more of those walks ...at night tho better have mace or a gun...well in some parts
Good morning to you all, it's a cold snowy one as usual, Katya is getting ready to leave for the airport and her flight home via Switzerland this time......have a peaceful Sunday ............... The Dream...... The Reality....
Ha ha love the snow people Everyone Xx It was a morning of clarity for me, I see things in a different light, a more positive one I'm back !
Good morning, everyone!!! It's 7:35 am here, and the fall is coming - at least in the south of the country. The temperature has been falling every day, and that makes me happy as well. Although I haven't been posting recently, I' ve been reading the posts (it's interesting to know the differences between several countries), and that also has made me learn new English words. Anyway, have a super Sunday!
May you be blessed with seeing everything today through the eyes of a child and feel the joy of beholding all the beauty surrounding you. Happy Sunday Everyone.
View attachment 16619 Good Morning One and All. I'm so glad it's only a few weeks until I'm off to the beach once again. I hear the waves calling my name and it's hard not to pack up and go answer that call this morning. We've had such beautiful Spring weather here in Louisiana lately. I hope many of you are experiencing nice weather too and that the ones who aren't soon will be. It's a new week filled with new blessings for us all. May your week be filled with peace, joy, laughter, and love.
A very good Monday morning to you all, it's alternating between sleet and snow here at the moment, it's been the coldest April here for some 40 years evidently, snow is actually rare after March, hopefully May will be warmer... It felt strange waking up this morning with no Miro to greet us, we do miss him being around, though it was tiring at times as well......... We intend to go for a walk this afternoon when the sleet/snow hopefully stops.... Here are a few paintings from Google's Monday Mornings.... enjoy your day....... Monday Morning 1918 Monday Mornings....
