Seems like we sleep much better after I put clean linens on the bed. But, of course, at this age, our sleep habits aren't nearly as good as they were years ago. Older age has a lot to do with life and health, that's for sure.
I just changed the sheets yesterday, nothing was right though...couldn't get my pillow right, seems like it was higher than usual...good thing I sleep alone because I was constantly moving, adjusting, turning..oh well, it happens occasionally. Ive been sleeping too well lately, guess I had to pay the price. Life can't be perfect, lol
That's why I wouldn't give up our king size bed for anything...I need lots of "moving around" room during the night.
I know this isn' good morning wishes but I love this and wanted to share it anyway. And let all of you know that if you don't see me posting much in the next few weeks then just know that there is nothing wrong. I will just be in Texas in a few days helping my daughter get her house uncluttered so they can put if up for sale and I'm not going to bring my laptop with me over there because I will be to busy during the day to post and to tired at night to do that too. I only have so much energy now and between decluttering and playing with the grandbabies...the computer is just going to have to sit on the table for a time. Behave yourselves while I'm away or at least try too. I'm going to miss y'all but I'm so full of joy that my daughter and her family are moving back to Lafayette that I don't care how much time I have to spend over there helping her pack up, etc. to come home! Besides that my daughters are treating me to 5 days in an on the beach Condo in Florida with them after we finish up all the hard work...and I'm so looking forward to this too. I will be taking my laptop to Florida to share lots of beach pictures with y'all. I hope everyone gets a good night's sleep tonight and has sweet dreams too. And may you all wake up in the morning with a big smile on your face and joy in your hearts. God bless.
I'll miss you but am very happy for you!! Take care of yourself though and try not to overdo. Hope you can pop on occasionally somehow just to let us know how things are going... Most of all..enjoy your grandkids and have fun in Florida.
Good morning everyone, this morning the sun is shining brightly in a deep blue sky as promised, so we are going on our favourite No16 tram ride which terminates in a large recreational park with a lovely restaurant in the corner where we can have lunch.....the weekend is forecast to be wet but the sun returns on Monday, and next Thursday we fly off to Sarajevo in Bosnia for our spring break........ I'll miss you too @Chrissy Cross, you and I have come a long way and I'm enjoying our Forum friendship very much these days. Although I'm not bringing my laptop to my daughter's...she does have one I can use if I'm not to tired but since there will be the decluttering, packing, and grandbabies to spread my time with getting on that laptop will be last on my list of priorities while I'm there. If I get tired I'm going to take some naps!
Good Morning Everyone. I woke up to the temperature being 80 degrees here at 5am! The past week day mornings were in the 50's until this morning and it was kind of a shock to step out this morning to take my Honey to work and find it hot outside! This morning has already been a busy one for me even though it's still early. I have made coffee and driven my Honey to work, started a load of laundry, scoured the bathtub and sink, loaded some dishes in the dishwasher, and I will be spending my day making sure our home is clean and my Honey has a refrigerator full of food for when I leave to go to my daughter's in Texas on Sunday or Monday. We still haven't quite got nailed down whether I will be riding to Texas on Sunday with my son-in-law's best friend (who is like my son too) who will be visiting his mom here in Lafayette this weekend and going back to Texas on Sunday afternoon, or if I will take the train on Monday. I should know something for sure by this afternoon. My children are more spur of the moment people...but I really like it when things are "set in stone" a few days ahead of time so I know what is coming and can prepare for it. May each of you have a weekend to remember!

Okay my ride is set. I will be chauffered by my son-in-law's best friend to Texas on Sunday. We will be leaving Louisiana around lunch time and should be at my daughter's in Texas by supper time. Since this young man lives about 4 houses down from my daughter and her husband, he won't be going out of his way at all. This will work out fine for all of us.
