With the exception of the morning birds, our street is relatively quiet this morning. It's going to be a rather harried day today for this morning at 0830 hours and if all goes well Yvonne goes in for her (hopefully) last shock job to make her heart go back into sinus rhythm. She has to go in dry mode meaning she can't have coffee, water or food until the ordeal is over. Thank God she is normally a good natured person when she gets up in the morning for I, under the same circumstances would be hard to live with without my normal pot of joe before day break. All things being what they are I am sure it will be a great day so have a good morning and a blessed beyond measure day to everyone! Now, back to my 2nd double cup of coffee and the news.........
Good morning all, I woke at 5:00 am and have dozed on and off since, it's nearly white nights time here so it never really gets dark. The sun is well up and it's 17c already 25c promised later, so time I was up ... Have a great Saturday everyone.... A couple of pictures of summer in the dacha....
Good morning everyone, a very hot week here but I'm leaving Wednesday for the coast where it's more than 30 degrees cooler. I wont be gone long though...just driving over on Wednesday and coming back Friday. It's my oldest grandson's graduation and my daughter has all the in laws and even her sister in law with her 2 young girls coming from out of state...a full house...get me out of there, lol. I don't think Pickles will do well at all especially with the little girls. Have a great Saturday!
Good Morning one and all. The beach was beautiful again yesterday but much to rough so we had to stay on the shoreline and just let the waves wash over our feet...and try to pick up some small shells before the waves carried them back out. So we spent time at the beach and time at the water play areas at the Condo. We all are enjoying both things very much and will be sad to head back home tomorrow. Time sure flies by when you are having fun.
I can't even imagine what that's like, being light out that late. Our sun sets at 8:04 today and the latest will be probably about 9:00 PM in a month, then the days get shorter again.
Good morning from my bed on this sunny but cool morning in the country, the local cockerels are crowing and the birds are singing, so the rural Idyll feels magical. I slept a bit later until 5:30 and dozed till 7 ...... I guess I will need to get up at some stage, but it's all too cosy here at the moment... I wish you all an amazing Sunday....... The sun rises about 5am and sets about 10pm here at the moment, but the sky stays lit like twilight.... you get used to it, in June the locals go out walking at night
