Oh yes it does I agree ... we've been campaigning for years in this country for them to stop messing with the time changes but to no avail...

Yes, @Ina I. Wonder I think my granddaughter and I do favor each other in some ways. :)

Good “morning?” Oh well I missed it again. I can’t wait for the temperatures to go down just a smidgeon more. Then I can go play outside under the big oak tree out front. I’d like to make a fall flower garden, and I’m wondering what kinds of flowering plants will grow into the winter. In the past, I’ve always had a vegetable garden, but now it’s not needed, and I still have my indoor tower garden that I grow salad veggies on. :p

@Holly Saunders, I’ve been absent from SOC for awhile because I kept getting bumped off every time I tried to go from thread to thread. So I didn’t see the thread concerning Gary. :(

It started months ago, and it just got worse until I couldn’t join in the conversations at all. Then @Yvonne Smith encouraged me to ask @Ken Anderson what to do about it, and he fixed me right up. Turns out there is a thing called a cache, and it needs to be cleared periodically. Who knew? Not me, as you can tell. My title as Zombie Tech is safe. So I followed the instruction he provided me, and things were fixed in less than five minutes. Now all is aright. Yea Ken!!

@Gloria Mitchell , I know you live in Texas too, (it’s a very big state), and I was wondering if you were into gardening. If so, can you give me an idea of what types of flowering plants I might be able to introduce to the shady parts of my yard. I have to stay out of the sun do to having sun poisoning, but I still want to turn my 1/2 acre front yard into a fun place to be. :)

@Babs Hunt , I am green with envy. :D My oldest grandchild is almost 34, and the youngest is 18. They are all grown up and busy living they’re lives to the fullest. But now that my new neighbors feel more comfortable with me I get to play with there babies. The little girl, Carolyn, is almost six, and the boy, Chase, is two.

They are a young black family, and so they were a little wary of the old white lady that sold them they’re new home. It seems they couldn’t figure out why I sold them the place so cheaply, because they’re realtor told them that I had received higher bids. I just wanted good neighbors, instead of someone wanting to set up a business on the property. Now I get to play with babies too. :p

Good to have you back @Ina I. Wonder , yep most of us know to clear out our cache's periodically, some people do it every night before they turn off..and clear their history too...

I used to have to do it lots when I was using Microsoft but not so much now I use a MAC...but co-incidentally I cleared my cache out just last night because every now and again, the computer starts sticking and I get a beach ball thing, that stops me scrolling or clicking from page to page...or pages taking forever to load..... as soon as I clear the cache out it's all fine again.. ...

Truthfully, not sure. i have never been good with blooming plants, except a spider plant and a begonia. Grew basil once on the patio, it got so out of hand, that i could not keep up with it. Therefore do not plant any herbs or anything. Once the weather drops to um, to the 40's at night, usually bring all my plants indoors. Needless to say, they get to look a bit ragged out once winter is over. BUT, good dose of liquid Miracle Grow, once warmer outside... they thrive the rest of the year. Also, i have learned for many plans, especially kept indoors, that drawing the water at least 24 hours in advance, helps a lot! Letting it set breaks down the chlorine.

Jeans and long-sleeve shirts right around the corner...........gonna hate it!
And, will take a Colorado (Front Range) or eastern or northern Wyoming summer over any Florida summer. Much less humidity and high heat.
Wife, and myself, really miss seeing White-Tail and Mule Deer as well as Bull and Cow Elk.
