Couldn't resist putting this Good Morning picture up...my youngest grandson just loves Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Didn't make it to hear my Granddaughter sing in the Choir last night as I got home from getting my grandsons off to school yesterday and running a few errands and starting having chills, a headache, and chest tightening. It could be just my asthma/allergies flaring up from this up and down cold and rainy weather we have been experiencing but I don't want to take any chances or be around a bunch of school kids who may expose me to all kinds of sickness germs. This morning I still don't feel my normal self so I'm not going to my Grandson's Band Concert either. My daughter was nice enough to send me this pic of my granddaughter and some of my grandkids at her Choir Concert. It's going to stay in the 50's all day today which isn't bad, but it will be overcast for most of the day too and we have a 30% chance of rain. The older I get the less I like Winter time. Have a peaceful day one and all.
Good morning! I wouldn't mind some clouds, I'm so sick of the bright sunny days. Temps are okay in the 60's but some rain would be nice but not next Wednesday when I'm driving to my daughter's. They are in the 70's and I'm hoping it cools a little by Christmas. For some reason the coast is always a little warmer in the winter than Fresno. Yesterday was my last PT session unless insurance approves more, I'm waiting on that but I couldn't go now anyway since I'll be gone a week to ten days. They fixed my frozen arm and have started working on my back muscles. Yesterday they even had me warm up riding the exercise bike...I liked that. Hope everyone has a great Friday! Seems there are less and less posts in this section. Where is @Terry Page? Still decorating the white bathroom or heading back home to Worcester for Christmas? Actually this is my favorite section of the forum, love hearing about everyone's plans or day. I'm going to be more consistent in posting here. @Patsy Faye ....miss your little birdie good morning pics also. It would be nice if everyone said "Good morning" here regularly and not just occasionally Well, back to watching "The Crown"....I have a lazy day planned.
@Chrissy Cross Did your PT suggest you need more sessions? It seems the sessions have definitely been helping you. I miss all the Good Morning posts we used to have too. It seems like since Ike passed away the posts here have been getting fewer and fewer. And I'd like to see others starting their day off here again too.
Yes, they sent a request to my insurance ....hope I start the New Year with them. Yep @Babs Hunt , I remember Ike's humorous "Good Morning" posts.
Good afternoon to you all... It's 3pm here, it's been a sunny morning and I so wanted to go out but the side affects of the meds I'm on make me disorientated and very tired so I had to give it a miss, I certainly wouldn't have been ale to drive. I'm sorry you missed your concert @Babs Hunt and won't be able to go to your Grandson's Band concert but you're right to stay home., Hope you feel better soon... Pleased your PT is helping CC...my shoulders seem to be getting better too, I can wash and brush my hair now without pain, still can't put my arms behind my back and I still have to be careful how I lie in bed ...but I'm sure that will come soon... I didn't go to PT I just followed the exercises on a good physio site on YT... and used exercise bands... Anyway have a good friday folks... It's very cold here and it will be dark again in about 30 minutes , that's depressing...
Thanks @Holly Saunders. I could probably do the exercise for my shoulder and arm at home also but I lack motivation. All the ones I do at PT can be easily done at home with things like you mention...exercise bands, a broom stick, a belt or scarf, a corner in the house, etc. Reaching up my back isn't perfect yet but that's not as important as reaching up and reaching out...for some reason it's harder to fix that...don't know why though. I was supposed to get a sheet with the exercises I do but forgot so can you give me a link to YT? Of course it might not even work here as some UK YouTube sites don't.
Also, I shouldn't be driving either, lol....this is what happened yesterday. I don't feel like telling the whole story but here's a text that says it all...I'm texting this to my son. It says today but I did the screenshot yesterday because I just wanted to email it to my daughter instead of typing what happened. For one moment, I was petrified...didn't know how much damage I did to my car or the garage door.

Are you having trouble driving because of the tendinitis CC?...I found it really painful to drive because I couldn't look over my shoulder, and turning the steering wheel and changing gear hurt like the devil ( I know you have an automatic)...but when I had to drive I had to thread the steering wheel through my hands like when we were first taught to drive, so as I wasn't moving my shoulders ..but now I can drive almost normally again.. although I can't drive long distances yet... Nice to have you back @Patsy Faye
My daughter called me a short while ago and told me she was glad I didn't come with her to the Band Concert as it was a mess! Wall to wall people which is against our Fire Codes...and no one seemed to be in charge there. When the Band finally started playing our youngest grandson freaked out at the loud noise and cried so much my daughter had to take him out of there. For some strange reason the School's have been so unorganized with their Programs these past few years. You don't hear anything about them until the very last minute and then they don't run smoothly either. So I'm really glad I didn't go. My ex couldn't even find a parking place so he just turned around and went home.
