Good morning everyone. Chilly today and I would t have to go out but yesterday I didn't realize I didn't have a refill for my thyroid meds so they had to fax dr...going again to Walgreens today to pick it up. Good thing it's nearby.
Morning everyone. Most of you are still fast asleep and I hope you are having sweet dreams. For the past few weeks I have been waking up every morning around 2am and am not able to go back to sleep so I often come here for awhile and let my thoughts tumble out. My youngest granddaughter is practicing for her upcoming ballet recital...therefore ballet paintings seems a good choice to share this morning. She's always been a dancer almost since the day she was born. And she has always really heard the beat to the music and her body would dance in perfect harmony with the music she was listening to. So I am excited that her parents can afford the ballet classes she now loves too. And I'm very much looking forward to attending her Recital. As her Granny I can say with all honesty that she has definitely inherited that love of dancing from me. It's the weekend and we have a 100% chance of rain and thunderstorms today so my Honey and I will just be relaxing indoors but tomorrow is my luncheon date with my oldest daughter and I am really looking forward to that. I hope everyone has something special to look forward to this weekend. Enjoy yours.
Not asleep here..lol... It's 11.30am.. and it's a very windy and cold morning... Gorgeous pictures @Babs Hunt ...your youngest grand-daughter, is she the little one we've watched ( not literally) being born and start to grow up...(the little one in the mirror a few years ago)?... she's such a cutie.... I'm sure she gets plenty of practise with grandma with her dancing.. yesterday I fell downstairs..I had just finished vac'ing upstairs and down... and I'd left the Vac at the bottom of the stairs while I quickly popped upstairs to the loo... on the way down I missed a step and fell the whole length , and landed at the bottom of the stairs onto the Vaccum cleaner... twisted around sideways trying to save myself and banged my head against the wall.. No serious damage but it shook me up, and every part of me was and still is sore...my back and shoulders especially.. Sometimes I really wish we lived in an apartment... So sorry to hear about your accident and so thankful you did not get hurt worse than you did. We just don't have the coordination and balance we had when we were younger and we really do have to take more care on stairs, in the tub, etc. It can get downright scary sometimes. I'm really glad you are going to be okay when that soreness goes away. And yes...that's my granddaughter who was so happy to see herself in the mirror when she was just a baby. She hasn't out grown that either...she still loves to see herself in the mirror, and so does her baby brother! She's quite the little Diva in a very good way just like her Moma.
