Just because one person was being inconsiderate of your beliefs, that is no reason to avoid all of the rest of your friends, @Chrissy Cross ! Sometimes, we can all say things that we didn’t mean to hurt someone with, but it comes out wrong. I have certainly done that enough times myself ! I am trying hard to stay out of those threads when my viewpoint is very radical, and I think it would upset other people, and sometimes, that seems to be the best way to deal with it. I didn’t see anything that looked like you were doing anything other than expressing your thoughts about religion and the topic being discussed, and I agree with a lot of what you said (not that that matters); so I hope that you come back soon............ we all MISS you when you are not around. How can the forum run without its Guardian Angel ? ?
Do not fret yourself over it @Chrissy Cross. Although I can only speak for myself and Yvonne, I am sure there were more than just us who were frowning over a few paragraphs. Only God can know the heart, others should not even speculate what kind of relationship a person has with the creator. And yes, different views should always be welcome for within those views is a new learning experience and should be respected as such.
What thread was this I missed it... I tend not to get into any kind of religious debates..no-one wins...
I usually avoid religious threads but... Anyway I have no desire to change anybody's religion. I don't care what you believe ..everybody believes their God is the true God...we will all fInd out in the end and I'm in no hurry.
Good afternoon from a sunny day here at around 18f, we got back a while ago from a trip out to do some odds and ends, like getting my visa registered, and visit the computer man for another possible repair of a faulty laptop I brought from the UK, I spilt a glass of wine on the keyboard .......while out walking we were wary of falling icicles melting in the sun, several people have been killed and injured already this year, one man removing them from a building fell from a ledge to his death.
