Good morning, folks. The laser cataract surgery on my left eye has gone nicely and I'm now driving. Actually, started driving yesterday, and even though my right eye still needs to be done, I'm seeing everything clearly to drive. Not exactly looking forward to the laser surgery on my right eye, but it's a "must" to be done. Don't want to have "offset" vision.
I drink Folgers coffee 50/50 and have for 28 years... Maryland club also makes a 50/50 , there may be other brands in your area. It is coffee with half of the normal amount of caffeine. Much better than decaf .
Good Morning folkies... Sunny morning after a whole day of rain yesterday, and for the first time since last winter, I felt cold in bed last nigt, so I may have to take the lightweight quilt off, and put the Duvet back on.... Daughter told me she's coming over for a very quick visit next month..literally flying in for 2 days and flying out again... I'm delighted... Have a good day everyone...
Oct 24th, for the right eye. Holly, all I can say is the word "amazing" about my vision in my left eye. Just plain amazing. Wife and I just hope the same happens for the right eye. I seriously don't think I've ever seen this good in my entire life, even when I had 20-20 vision years ago.
That's fantastic Cody... I've heard other people say the same about their eyesight after laser surgery, that they can see better than they ever have in their life... . Apart from the obvious benefits to your eyes, it must be making you feel so much brighter and more upbeat too..
Good evening, we are back in the city and civilisation, though it was sad closing up the dacha for the winter, we won't go back now until next April The weather has become much colder and the recent frosts have turned all the leaves to gold so we are well and truly into autumn now. Raining and 38 F. at the moment, but no snow. We have three of the grandchildren for the weekend, and we just got notified we are going to have our 13th grandchild in late May or early June of next year if all goes well. Wife took the grands to Sunday School , and I will join them for church later. Hopefully the roads won't get icy.

NJ has been urging me to go back because he's never been , he'd like to go this year, so maybe we will...
Morning all... It's fairly sunny and mild this morning. Hubs has a couple of days off, so we're going out in about an hour to run some chores.... Shouldn't take too long, but during that, I get to walk along the towpath and that gives me some welcome exercise...
