Good Saturday Morning All. I'll be watching college football for most of the day, and my SO will probably sleep the day away. Also, no one hit the huge Mega-millions lottery last night, so the next drawing will be worth an estimated $1.6 Billion. Serious money!

Good morning! 80 today. This morning I take Nicholas to the Catholic Church from 8:45-1:30! It's for the Confirmation Retreat....poor kid. He's had a full and busy week...will probably just want to chill after that this afternoon. I don't know why people say kids today aren't active....the ones I see are more active then we were when young.
Thankfully my cold has cleared quickly ..........Lisa's daughter Katya and children are here now for the school holidays, so I have rented a room in a nearby hostel for my last three nights, before I return to the UK on Tuesday. I enjoyed staying in my rented garret last night, in fact I realised while lying in bed that I could live here or somewhere similar, it has all I need a bed, a sofa a kitchenette and a shower/toilet. I really don't need the responsibility of a house ............I guess I almost live that way these days anyway, I do really feel at home wherever I am. It is really chilly here now, 45 right now, and only up to 60 for the predicted high of the day, and then 37 tonight. I am bundled up and have turned on the heat in the house, and my fingers are still frozen. I am making a pot of veggie broth to sip on during the day. coffee is good in the morning, but I do not like to drink it all day. I added carrots onions, tomato, spinach, and some rosemary and basil for seasoning, and will just let it simmer until this afternoon.
Good morning! My daughter and SIL got home very late last night from Hawaii....I think about 12:30 am but what surprises me is that I didn't hear them and Pickles didn't bark. I was out cold ..I'm usually a light sleeper. What's even worse is that Ive noticed that Pickles the barking dog doesn't ever bark at night...will bark like crazy during the day if someone is even near my house.... Today is my last day here and I'm going to Cal Poly with my daughter ..oldest grandson needs something from home. Probably could have been mailed but at least I get a chance to see him. It's only in the 60's here today, temps have dropped but it will be in the 70's in San Luis Obispo where the University is. Ya gotta dress in layers around here. Fresno will be 82 today, I'd rather be here. Have a great day...I'm sure I will!
