Sometimes being rich actually leads to a lifestyle that produces more health problems rather than fewer.

So.... Tonight , I was out there waiting by one of the torches that I knew he would have to come running past to light.
Even so, it was hard to get a good photo of him running past. I did get an excellent video, but I can’t post that one , but of course, @Holly Saunders can look at it.

Happy spring! Temp below freezing this morning, but it will probably get into the high 30s later today. As the snow melts, puddles form. I used to have to pump the water out of the low places to accommodate my family and the livestock, but since there is now only my wife and myself, and there is no more livestock, I don't pump water unless a building is near flooding. We have to address the driveway almost daily to keep it passable for my wife's car.

We had the same kind of problem in Idaho, because the snow starts to melt as the days warm up, but the ground is still so frozen that the snowmelt can’t sink into the ground, so it puddles on top, and everything turns to mud as the top layer of ground begins to thaw out. Schools are usually closed, and all work that is done in the woods (like logging) has to come to a standstill for several days or a week (sometimes longer) until it warms up enough that the roads are not too muddy to drive on.
Now that most of the country roads are paved, probably school does not have to stop anymore; but when most of those roads were dirt and gravel, then they were too muddy for heavy vehicles like trucks and school busses to drive on.

    Good Morning!

Well, Spring has sprung in some places in the U.S., while others, definitely not. Springtime in Colorado can mean Spring snows, which can be wet and heavy from now thru Mother's Day Weekend. But, after that, it's boating, fishing, water skiing, tubing, hiking and rodeo time.

Now, Spring here in Florida means that the beginning of Hurricane Season is around the corner and daytime high humidity starting to really kick in.

    Morning all..

It's a semi sunny cloudy mild day... we're gonna give the lawns their first cut of 2019.. when I say we I mean hubs, because I've put my kneecap out so I'm limited to what I can do due to the pain, which is very frustrating..

The Ivy is going to be trimmed back as well, which takes a while, that stuff grows like jack with his magic beanstalk, .. but hubs has the weekend off so he's going to tackle everything today.

Have a good weekend everyone.. thoughts always with @Babs Hunt

Unusually warm here, but the ground is still covered with snow...melting fast. Ice in the driveway is a problem to deal with...maybe this afternoon. I am continuing the planting/transplanting and my wife has a good many flowers started. I will finish planting cabbage today, then move on to Brussels sprouts, then cauliflower, and broccoli. I will plant lettuce in the small greenhouse if I get time and ambition.

When we do get around to mowing the lawn, my wife usually does it, as she enjoys it and does a much better job of it than I do. We have a lot of grass to mow, probably an acre or more, and it takes a while even with a riding mower.

Good morning! I just love Spring and it's been blooming all around us lately. The beauty of nature that God has created for all of us is just so awesome. I hope we're all taking time to enjoy this beauty...and if some of you are still waiting on Spring's glory....the wait will be worth it. :)

Praying a joyous and peaceful day for one and all. :)
