That's off-topic, saying "good afternoon" in a "good morning" thread. Three-point penalty.

Hoping that you are starting to feel better, @Holly Saunders ! I have had my back go out on me with those horrible spasms, and had to literally crawl everywhere for over a week . Actually, I only crawled from the bed to the bathroom and back, for most of that time, it was such excruciating pain .
Finally got better enough to get into our truck and my hubby took me to the chiropractor’s office, and that did help.
You definitely have to be well in time for the Spain trip , so take good care of yourself and get well soon.

Thank you Yvonne, xx that's exactly what happened to me, Crawling on the floor, even that was agony.... but now I can pull myself up with the sticks ( 4 days on)..and once I'm standing even tho' it spasms I can walk without the aid of the sticks, but once I sit down , even for a few minutes it's spasms again, so my physio said to only lie down on the sofa, not to sit... and keep on my feet as much as possible. If I was in Spain I'd have my pool to help me relax the muscles but here the local leisure centre pool is lane swimming only, so no chance of just relaxing there..

We hit 61 F. today--spring is finally here, and sunset was after 10 PM for the first time this year! I was a wonderful sunny day. My one little greenhouse got to 89 F. even with the door and window open. I had to hook up the fan to the thermostat to keep from frying my little plants!

    G'afternoon all...

It's a split day weather-wise here...62 deg but mainly cloudy with the odd 10 minute blast of sun.. so quite warm, but forecast to be colder later in the week.
I'm still unable to do much but I'm trying to keep on my feet as much as possible.. I even eat on my feet!! Just took a gentle walk around the garden 500 steps ( I was counting)...to try and keep my back freed up... and did a few little chores which I could do standing up too , and no bending!!

I feel like a very old person at the moment, having to have a cane in every room to pull me up from a sitting position, but touch wood at least I'm able to walk without it now!!..even if I've still got to take the Anti spasmodics......anyway enuff of that...o_O

Anyone heard from @Babs Hunt ?..is she ok?

Hope you;re all having a good day... :)

When you utter the words, "Good morning," are you actually wishing that person a good morning, are you acknowledging that it is a good morning, or is it just a longer way of saying, "Hello?"

For me at the start, by saying Good morning /afternoon... I'm acknowledging everyone's presence on the new day...

at the end of my 'morning '' posts I;m wishing everyone a good day...

Our morning was taken up building walls, not bridges:). Although she will have to do most of the work, I bought her 2600+ pounds of wall stones for her flower bed. I coached and helped where I could, but she did the laying of the stone. We are half done, as my truck wouldn't comfortably carry that much weight, so I have to go back tomorrow to get the other half. I don't want to end up like @Holly Saunders so I limit my lifting, but there are things my wife cannot comfortably move, so what must be done gets completed. It stayed above 40 F. last night and rained this morning. It is only about 60 F. now.

I hope everyone is having (or had) a good day!

Oooooh no, I hope your wife was being verrrry careful @Don Alaska , you're so right, she doesn't want to end up like this.

I still can't sleep in my bed, too painful, so I have to sleep on the sofa because it's firm leather..and it's nearly a week on now... and still very painful..so please tell her to be very careful

I refer to her as "Super Farm Woman", as she can do amazing things and is almost a decade younger than I am. I do watch out for her, however.:)
