I wasn't tired anymore so there was no point in staying in bed. I'll probably either take a nap this afternoon, fall asleep in my chair, or go to bed early tonight, and possibly all three.
We have been up since 3am...but I am in a roll today..so that is okay. Read my thread Our Grown Kids...I am on a mission here and I will have fun to boot
Afternoon all... Another rainy morning.. drizzling now.. . I have no idea why we're getting all this rain in June, must be payback for the glorious hot Feb and April we had. I took this pic of our lane in June a couple of years ago...this is how it should look Instead it's like October or November all dull and grey skies I should have been going to get my nails done today, but instead I have to wait in for an important parcel my O/H ordered yesterday... The tracking told me they'd deliver between 11am and 1pm..so I thought I'd go this afternoon ...however, it's just after 12.30pm and I've had a text saying the package will be later ..between 2pm and 4...irritating!!! Have a super duper day..folks
Boy do you take some nice photos. Just what kind of camera do you use? Do you take photos on "Automatic" or "Manual" focus? My wife loves all of the photos I've taken since we've met, but yours are really, really nice as well. Holly, I'm truly impressed!
Well thank you for that compliment Cody... I'm no pro , but I'm an avid photo taker, and I switch between my camera which tbf is now very old...( Fuji finepix bridge camera ) ..and my iphone X.. ( many of my picture were also taken with my old Blackberry...they were really good for the time....and my best aerial shots were taken using my old Blackberry too.. I do use Manual on my camera, but I often just use Automatic too... depends on how much time I have to set up the shot!! This photo of a house on my daughter's land for example, was taken on Auto... it's one of my favourites... ..and this bridge on her land in manual This one ..one of my favourites, was taken locally here using my Phone...
Most of my photos are taken on "Auto", unless it's a fast-action one then I have to take on "Manual" and adjust the Shutter Speed. Our last digital camera was a Panasonic, but now we have a Canon PowerShot SX530. Since our iPhones are old 6, they don't take really good photos like the Canon does.
Once you upgrade to a new phone, you'll see a HUGE difference in the quality of pics compared to your old phone. In fact that's the reason I'm holding off buying a new camera, I'm loathe to spend £1000 + on a camera when my phone takes such excellent shots, with a great zoom lens!!
yes , nice picture . My daughter has the same Iphone as me and she took this one recently..just after the heavy rains at her place
Rainy this morning but clearing. We had a spectacular thunderstorm last evening--a rare event here. There was a bit of small hail, but no damage was done. Some of our friends had a lightning strike ignite a forest fire, but they were out of the rain areas and only had dry lightning. Helicopters apparently were called and extinguished the fire.
Two out of three. I fell asleep at my chair, then took a nap for a couple of hours. Since it's 1:40 am EST, I didn't go to bed early. Once the movie I am watching is over, I'll be off though.
Well, it's my birthday and I turned 70 today. Dang I'm getting old (LOL). Bottom of foot and heel is hurting some this AM. got a nice haircut this AM and headed out for a Birthday Dinner tonight. Wife will have lobster and I'll have prime rib.
