Holly, we stopped by a Livestock Auction, just north of us, last week. Ever been to one of those? When we lived in Colorado before, we went to the same Auction. Obviously we didn't bid/buy any animals, but seeing the Heifers and Bulls being auctioned off was really cool. Actually, they were being sold as the "slaughter" type. We would've have never seen this in Jacksonville, FL!

Yes I have been to many, not the slaughter house but the auctions for farmers for sheep and cattle. ..it's a great day out ! I hope you enjoyed it ..
Afternoon all..it's a glorious sunny day again today.. I've not been out today but I've cleaned all the windows upstairs and down. Cleaned the front doorstep and door, ditto back door.. .. cleaned my car, and put the washing on.. the clothes are in the dryer now... !! That's been my fascinating but semi productive morning!! Tomorrow I may plant my new Hebe Grethe plants we bought at the weekend from the garden centre..
Oh how good it feels to tell everyone Good Morning! And I hope it is that way for all of us. There's something about bright yellow Sunflowers that just bring joy to my heart. When I run errands in my car I always pass someone's home that has sunflowers growing around their mailbox and seeing them just brings a smile to my face each time I pass them. God has made us some really beautiful colors and the yellow of the sunflower is one of my favorites. Have a blessed day everyone.

Five days on the road, but heading home today! Will send pictures and story about the trip that almost went sour. Have lots of catching up to do on here.
Morning all... Sunny start to day after yesterdays heavy rain. Forecast is for rain again later this afternoon. Hubs has been really unwell this weekend, sleep for almost 3 days solid aside from waking for meds and the loo. However, he perked up some yesterday, got up had a shower etc, a little bit of food, and blow me if he hasn't gone to work today? I tried to get him not to go, but he's promised if he feels poorly he'll come home.. very hard to do in his job, but still, I can only hope he'll get through the day without making himself worse again... Have a good day folks whatever your plans....
