Good morning everyone, woke up to not so good news. My mom is back in the hospital again after she quit breathing last night. Thankfully my brother is law is a doctor and was at home and gave her CPR. I talked to her yesterday on the phone and I was happy that she sounded stronger....things can change so quickly. An anxious day for me.
That's so scary. Does she have sleep apnea? I guess they'll do a sleep study on her if they haven't already.
No she has emphysema and congestive heart failure. She just got out of the hospital a week ago and was only home for a week. She's on oxygen 24/7. Wish it was only sleep apnea.... I have a sick feeling that I'm going to get that call I don't want to hear.
Back problems are nothing to take lightly. One of my daughters suffers from severe back pain. I wish you speedy relief Holly.
So sorry Chrissy ... stay strong. You have to. I lost all my relatives (mother, father, aunts, uncles) within a span of two years, about 10 years ago, and it had me reeling ... then I lost my husband of 49 years three years ago to illness. With no sisters or brothers, being left with my children and grandchildren, it made me look at life so differently. Again, stay strong. All my best to you.
Yes, things can certainly change very quickly... I'm so sorry to hear about that news you're dealing with today, @Chrissy Page . I hope that your next post will be good news about your mom and that she's home and recovering.
