Sunny but a cool Sunday morning in Sydney. Do we have many church goers here on SOC? I am a Christian and a proud one but I am not a church goer. That desire was removed from me decades ago when I was in boarding school and we kids had to march.. not walk.. three miles to attend church services. That was in rain, hail or shine. Honestly by the time we arrived all you wanted to do was relax.. Many a time I was given corporal punishment for sleeping during the clergyman's sermon.
Normally I'd be in church but with the virus going around and my wife's medical condition, I'm going to pass today.
Good morning fellow earthlings, Well, the supermarket delivery arrived, minus 14 out of 26 items. Apologies from the supermarket, saying that demand is very high and stocks are low. However, we 'Autumn Glories' are not thick, some of us remember rationing after WW2, so we booked deliveries from two other supermarkets also, and they arrive later today. Hopefully we'll will be OK for food for our isoltation from coronavirus. I know that this is very much the problem here in the UK, is it the same in the US and elsewhere too? A bloke down the road is manic over protecting himself against the virus, but I'll bet he's not comfortable wearing that deep sea diving outfit......I jest... Enjoy your deay folks.
