Since Saturday AM, we've been under a Air Quality High Warning due to wildfires in the Rockies and one of them is northwest of us and the smoke is drifting right over us as well as Fort Collins and other areas close. From the lake we have taken our boat to, a person can barely see the foothills and no mountains (Rockies) at all. Yesterday, Sunday morning, I stepped outside our front door and rushed back in. The smell was that heavy! In the afternoon I peeked outside the door and could see some smoke in the air. Was going to take our boat out this morning, but absolutely no way. Don't know when we'll be able to take it out. Hoping and praying from rain. We really, really need it!
Chrissy is here, she is online every day mostly, and just probably has her online presence muted, and she mostly just reads and not posts anymore. I miss her, too !
Why is what I want to know.? What is the point in reading but no participation ? This forum has changed...perhaps too much.
That's like doing a Zoom video with family and can't get either video and/or sound to work for a participant. A person can be heard, if sound is working, but if video isn't, the person can't be seen and visa-versa with sound (sound not working, but video is). I asked my BIL (wife's brother) not to participate in our family Zoom, if his video wasn't working, of which it wasn't. "We don't just want to hear you, we want to see you as well." He got the video fixed and the family enjoyed seeing and hearing him. Believe it or not, Gloria, there are a number of folks that only want to look at threads, not post. A lot of times they are afraid that if they post a reply, they will get criticized for what they say.
