My pit arrived on Friday when I receives a packet containing my "self-install" kit for my upgraded phone/tv/internet package. After trying to install it for 3 hours I called ISP and told them that in order for install I needed a particular password. I finally demanded that I have a physical person(as opposed to a computer) assist me. They said it would be between 2 and 3 on Saturday. Well 2 went by and 3 went by so I called to find out when. I was told that dispatch would call and tell me when. About 4:30 a tech mysteriously appeared and fixed the problem by taking a paper clip and sticking it into a hole in the router that supplied the necessary password. So by 5 we were back up and running. So the pit(no tv, phone or internet lasted from 11am Friday til 5pm on Saturday.
Well todays peak just arrived I check to see if my refund from IRS was processed and found out it was in my bank as of 3/6/2020
I am beyond a Pit...I am!;&'()pissed. Called doctor office that ordered the CT scan. I have to make appt.to get results which the first opening isn't until 31st ! Oh Hell no !. And why ..because the doctor is on Spring break I have a cal into primary doctor..hoping he can get results...this is beyond ridcuious
I don't blame you, Gloria, So madning. What happened to the medical profession people that are supposed to care, maybe their pause and excuse should be disabled, this waiting time is absolutely unacceptable. So Sorry. .
I remember, after my left rotator cuff surgery, I was suppose to see the surgeon the following week for a follow-up of the surgery, but it was Spring Break for his kids, so he took the week off. It wasn't a "spur of the moment" thing, it had already been planned, but I had to wait for the surgery follow-up. The surgery wasn't anything serious, but I did want the follow-up earlier than two weeks later. My wife's past PCP seemed to be taking a vacation often. Her regular check-up appointment was set, then a week before that, we'd get a call from the appointment desk to change the date of her appointment. After a few times, it was getting annoying.
PIT.....Started with the coffee maker, basket must have been cracked, coffee and grinds all over the counter, the rest of the day was about the same, whatever i went to do....should have left alone You'd almost think it was Friday 13th, maybe i can switch, can't have 2 bad days a week....i hope not. PEAK.....Heard Canada Geese in the sky over last couple of days, some crows are back, and the best Peak is it's bedtime, not expecting any Pits there..
Peak..... Yesterday heard one of our spring song birds along with more Canada Geese. Was a Great day, snow almost all melted, feeling some stronger heat from the sun, +5. @Ken Anderson Think you could be right about an early spring. Hoping. Pit..... 0. .
Micki, you can't beat bird song to cheer us up, we have building work nearby, been going on so long and the birdies have gone elsewhere @Micki Pembroke
Ditto here, Patsy. There is a guy building a house on his property across the street and first thing in the morning and last thing at night all one hears is hammering, buzz saws, etc. I guess there aren't any laws about all that. I feel sorry for the folks on either side of him.
True Lois - I just hope the birdies come back when all is done - building new houses, so a good while to go yet @Lois Winters
We have been seeing those Canadian geese on their way back to your house, too, @Micki Pembroke ; so they are definitely on the way back north. That is always a good sign that spring is coming when we see them flying back north again. We are actually starting to have warmer weather here now, have had the heat off and the doors open to air out the house. The trees are starting to blossom, and the hyacinths and other early spring flowers are also in bloom. YEA, SPRING ! ! !
