Peak :...got my new Mattress delivered today.. and as it was a 2 man delivery I got them to take it upstairs instead of leaving it in the hall. Also I got my new slippers delivered this afternoon... I like backless ones.. one navy blue pair and the other tapestry style.. Pit : One of the delivery drivers slipped on my stairs as he was coming back down, he didn't hurt himself but I felt bad for him so I gave them both a bigger Tip that I was originally going to give them ...
Pit - spilt a cup of tea all over the coffee table Peak - a guy (a friend of next door neighbour) just told me I was a good looking woman ! (wonder if he'd had a few tipples)
LOL...well that compliment is as good as a Christmas present Patsy.... Peak :... Had 2 parcel deliveries today, more bed linen for my new bed.....and now I'm cooking Salmon, honey and Dill soufflés for lunch..they'll be ready in about 10 minutes time after 40 minutes cooking , so I'm looking forward to them..and also hubs is off work now for 9 days.. Pit... None so far.. !!
@Holly Saunders - its good to see you happy ! How do you cook the salmon ? Do you buy salmon steaks ? Ah yes - a good Christmas present to be sure, the Cat's whiskers !
No not for the souffle @Patsy Faye just smoked salmon flllets. I make individual ones in ramekins . Just eaten it, it was delicious...
Pit: Wife just informed me we are going SHOPPING! Peak will be surviving...and a nice Scotch when I get home and hide.
LOL...it's racing towards 7pm now here @Tim Burr , so my o/h has got out of that today..but come first thing tomorrow morning... we are going out shopping..and he's not happy, but as we'll be having lunch out tomorrow he can have an alcohol reviver ..so he's a little less Peed off about it...lol...
That sounds like a most awesome pillow, @Patsy Faye ! What is it called ? Is it better now that you took out one of the memory foam tubes ? Your new slippers are jut beautiful, @Holly Saunders , and I like the tapestry looking ones very much; but both pairs look super comfortable.
@Yvonne Smith - This is the pillow Yvonne The outer case is amazing, I am trying a slim pillow inside that and at present, this is fine, I have the tubes in case I want to revert back to them. Great having these options
