Pit: One new battery, $400. (When did batteries get so expensive???)

Peak: One new battery. Now I can send the hubby on errands without worrying that he'll be stranded.

Pits today- grumpy and feeling starved hubby coloscopy is today. We have used this same doctor over the years, but forgot how hard his regimen is for this process. I have been having all these medical things taken care before our big move next move ,and end of the year. He is not a happy camper and I understand his pain. Hopefully all is well and we can carry on with this move.
Last few days I have been on the upside about every thing, but today ,so far at least, a bit down in the dumps. Sigh
Peak is at some time the sun will come out today and improve my mind at least. We move next month onthe 12th and am so ready to get this over with. Moving out of state is stress enough, but to have been born and raised in Texas, then move off to Kansas - well its hard. But the Peak will be much cheaper rent, way more space than needed , least we have relative there. I am looking forward to a different place and new friends - just wish I could wiggle me nose and be done with it,;)

Pit: We really want to move, but with the winter here just starting, there's absolutely no way that can happen right now. Wife has found some nice apartments, but "fact remains fact" just can't do it. So, she can't look at available apartments anymore, because they will be gone by next June. June is the earliest we can move, because we've seen it snow here in the beginning of May. Besides that, we have to have our boat transported to where we move to. We sure can't do it ourselves with the vehicle we got. And, we don't want to sell the boat. My wife says "no way".

Peak: Tomorrow is Veteran's Day, so I get a free dinner at Applebee's and next Monday at Golden Corral. Then, if we still can, we will put on our "Western best" and go out for a Prime Rib dinner at local Country-Western Restaurant/Nightclub. There will be a band that we've never heard, but are interested in.

I know you must be getting anxious, G. That is a big move and there'll be a lot of changes in your lives, but it will be an adventure! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the new home and your new town. Won't be long now!

Hope your hubby gets a good report from the colonoscopy.

This started out as a pit yesterday, but resolved into a peak.

When I had to reset the pc to factory install, the antivirus software I had been subscribing to got wiped out. Tried to reinstall it several times and failed. Maybe the license had expired. Tried to purchase it again and that failed too. It got put on the back burner. Been living on borrowed time since.

Pit: . Got the dreaded Red Screen Fake McAfee pop up virus alert. The one that rings a bell and tells you your pc is infected, click here to fix. Over and over again. Figured the pc might be infected.

Peak: . This incident moved the problem to a front burner, and this time the anti-virus software reinstalled like a charm, no questions asked, no 800 number to call, no license number to enter, no nothing. Just a couple clicks. Told me I still had a year left on the license. No more pop up. I guess I just picked a bad day to try before.

Not exactly a "pit," so much as another goof. I love cranberries and always look forward to cranberry season and buy a couple of bags for the freezer. Apparently I have underestimated my Cranberry Stash and ordered 2 bags in today's grocery order. Went to the deep freeze to put them in and saw 6 bags in there. Oops. Guess I'll make some sauce today.

I actually grew cranberry plants from seeds from last year's Thanksgiving cranberries.:) I nursed them through the winter and planted them in a planter in the spring. A chipmunk dug them up every day. I put them back but every time he would lose a few--not eat them, just to find what goodies were under them till they were all dead.
I am going to try again. Just bought some more bullets.
