I should of known when I dropped a full cup of coffee and cream on the carpet at 5:30 this morning. Then as we were were leaving for the 55 mile road trip to grocery store, the syrofoam cup I filled up to take with me - had a big hole in the bottom. While trying to put 4 ears of corn into one of the flimsy plastic produce bags. all four fell to floor, hole in bag . I had put a cosmetic item in cart only to be summoned verbally by something that had a faint resemblance of a young female. She informed me I had to pay for that there. It was the only item I had so far. Unhappily I told her, then you may put it up as I am not through shopping. That has never happened at to me at any Walmart, not there on previous grocery buying days.. We had our chops all set for our chicken to eat on way home - NONE had been made . Feet and back more painful than usual, and my compressed socks had slipped making ridges up and down legs. I was hurting bad and trying to put up 3 weeks worth of grocery was not helping. Since being told not to take Aleve , I made me a stiff drink at 2pm ,and relaxed on heating pad. Dozed off. Awakening, I was cold, and have been verbally grumpy all day, nap did not help that or y painful feet legs and back. What is very unusual for me is I have felt tried all day. I very seldom feel physically tired. i took my temp, nope normal. So I am not sure what the devil today was about, but hope it passes during the night. Then the Mr asks me what I had in mind for dinner ? I glared at him, and grunted. The only Peak today is Iam not dead yet and hes is still alive.
Pit: Two years ago I had bad flashing in the corner of one of my eyes with lots of spider web looking floaters. It took about 4 months for the floaters to calm down and the flash to go away. A couple days ago, the outer corner of my other eye had started with a flash, and today the floaters have started. One of the floaters looks like a dragonfly zipping back and forth. I'll be trying to swat floaters, and trying to ignore them for months on end again. Floaters are so annoying! Peak: The sun is shining.
After I had laser cataract surgery (removal and new lens put in) in 2018, I developed a floater. Thank God, only one! I've got so use to it, I hardly even notice it anymore. The good thing, I now have 20/20 vision!
The pit was when I had to get up and feed all these cats. I was sleeping so good and they have learned to wake me every morning by just making noise. So I got up, it got better after I called first thing to switch my auto insurance from geico back to progressive after 14 years. I only have a need for simple liability and no more, so I saved a little over 50 percent of what geico was trying to steal. It just kept climbing and climbing for no reason what so ever. I guess they thought I was going to just let them steal me into the old folks home to drive once a week two blocks to get robbed again at the local market. The final straw was the new billing showing that I would now be paying each month 90 bucks to watch my truck rust down in my driveway. I personally think this is the biggest case of theft ever forced on any nation. They have banked so much loot it is beyond comprehension. Instead of paying 90 bucks the 5th of May my future cost will be 45 dollars a month. I was checking email later and I had a note telling me from geico that my bill would be due the 5th because I had already turned off auto pay thru their own representative, shows how well they treat their customers don't it. So it took me another 30 minutes to let them know that I am already covered by another policy and one of their representatives had canceled my policy this morning plus turning off the authorization to auto pay. You have to be on your toes today or they are going to give you a good going over one way or the other, they are so spoiled and criminal they actually want to cause you to pay late fees, it is simply more stolen money for them. The insurance companies are highest on my list of hated organizations. There was a time when they would have been called the mafia. I know how it happened over 30 years ago when they wet the beaks of every congress person in office to get that bill passed that has all of us living in poverty while the thieves wallow in their stolen money forever. The best peak was seeing they owe me a hundred dollars and some change. !!!
I have those floaters when lying down with my eyes partially closed. Looks like something under a microscope wiggling around in fluid. Maybe it's the virus can't swim.
That sounds pretty bad, hope you get rid of them. I have never had them like that, only lying down and never so bad it caused me discomfort in any way.
For body pain try the Bayer Back and Body pain reliever. It is not aspirin and worked well for me for severe DDD in my neck until I finally got back on my nerve blocker. It has a purple looking label on the box, it is not in the same class as aleve or some other pain killers. I always liked the aleve also but was told after upper scope work that I had little red dots on my upper throat area and it was caused by aleve. I haven't taken any since that so I don't know if it helped or not.
Thanks! I hope it goes away soon too. It is most likely a vitreous detachment just like I had in the other eye. I will have to go get my eye dilated again next week most likely just to check it out. Apparently, this can happen as you get older, ugh! The floaters are so annoying. "The vitreous is the gel-like fluid that fills your eye. It’s full of tiny fibers that attach to your retina (the light-sensitive layer of tissue at the back of the eye). As you get older, the fibers of your vitreous pull away from the retina. This is called vitreous detachment. It usually happens after age 50. You may not notice when your vitreous detaches — or you may notice symptoms that affect your vision. The most common symptom of vitreous detachment is a sudden increase in floaters (small dark spots or squiggly lines that float across your vision). When your vitreous detaches, strands of the vitreous often cast new shadows on your retina — and those shadows appear as floaters. You may also notice flashes of light in your side (peripheral) vision. If your vitreous detachment doesn’t cause a serious eye problem, you’ll probably stop noticing symptoms as much after a few months."
My vitreous detachment last year caused a bleed in the back of my eye but it has resolved. Still have the occasional floater, though.
Pit: Husband is getting snappy and irritable with his invalid state. I have advised him to stop growling at me or he might be returning to the hospital. Peak: I assembled the cheap "computer desk" (basically a flimsy small table) for my Aerogarden grow light and I'm about to get that area set up with some plantings. I can work on that while grumpy-pants takes a nap.
I Had floaters for a few years, Not the same ones they changed, When I went to the eye doctor "Don't worry they'll eventually go away", He handed me a Fly swatter, Laughed And said "try not to kill anyone".
My peak of the day yesterday I finally resolved the problem with accessing my home security account. I figured out by myself but not the way customer service or the tech department instructed. The real problem was my computer. After fiddling around I finally got a message saying I needed to register a new device. I was puzzled by it but after a moment I remembered that my computer would be a new device to the system. My pit of the day yesterday I had to go back and undo everything that I was told to do to correct the problem.
Pit: After days of excruciating back and head pain, I lost my sense of humor. Peak: See my thread "Lame Childhood Jokes." as evidence that it is very faintly and slowly returning as I live and breath.
