Sounds like a perfect day Tim.... I had a similar day..Hubs had to work until 3 am this morning from 2 pm yesterday afternoon , and start again at 7am this morning , so he stayed in a hotel last night close to where he works , and didn't get home until 7pm this evening... 36 hours of doing what I want..making a noise late at night when he would normally be asleep... and playing music loud at 10pm..lol

My pit for today is I hate smelling like Ben Gay.:(

My peak is that even though I have to keep smelling like Ben Gay...my Honey gives me a nice back rub while he is rubbing Ben Gay into the arthritis spots. :D

My pit is that I have nobody to rub the areas on my back that I can't reach.

Interesting thread this. Peaks nil and pits nil. Reason - I don't normally get any. Frustration with me, yes.

Peak: TV tech came back with PCBA and installed into tv. TV came right on! No charge to us, but did offer him $10 for gas, but he absolutely wouldn’t take it. All we can hope for now is the tv comes on tomorrow morning. Watching it right now.

Pit: Fighting a sinus cold, so our Halloween Party is definitely out. But, will put on costumes again for Halloween night and give candy out. Will get pictures of us then.

    It's only 5pm...but so far...

The Peak : Beautiful sunny warm day after fog and heavy rain the last couple of days...and my o/h driving me ( because it's too painful for me to drive any distance at the moment ) to the street market in the next town and going for lunch at the pub, before he started work mid afternoon.... and also I bought myself a lovely new plaid shirt...

The Pit : My husband has no sense of direction, we're complete opposites... have a superb sense of direction. He dropped me at the market and went to park the car in the underground supermarket car park... when we returned after the shopping and lunch to get my car..he couldn't remember which level he'd parked it..so we searched and searched, then eventually we walked through some doors leading to stairs to go down another level in case he'd parked it down there (he could only remember he'd parked it in a corner)... when we got to the basement level doors there was no way to get in ..no handles, nothing..it was no entry... so we walked back up to the second level only to discover that the doors we came through were one way only and we couldn't get back into the second level ...searching for a way out, we finally found some emergency fire doors on the basement floor..and we burst through them out onto the road ..the complete opposite side to the entrance to the supermarket , setting off the alarms in the supermarket.. we'd still be stuck there if the doors hadn't opened... it was funny, but oooh sometimes my O/H's lack of sense of direction drives me nuts..:D:D

I'm like your husband @Holly Saunders.

I'll never forget one summer before I had Pickles, I flew out of the airport in Fresno and parked my car in long term parking. I was gone a few weeks and when I returned I couldn't remember where I parked my car.

It was about 108 degrees and there I was walking the parking lot with my suitcase forever...I wanted to cry. Finally found my car because thankfully Fresno Yosemite international isn't that big. :)

The Peak for today is I woke up and my back is hardly stiff or painful...there's just a little swelling. No Ben Gay today...and I can do things again. :) No tonight I might need a foot rub with my smell good lotion instead of a back rub by my Honey. :)

No peak or pit yet for me, still early. I do leave for PT in about 15 minutes and have no other plans for today.

My days are usually without peaks and pits though. Only pits I anticipate are ones when something needs fixing in the house and I can't do it.

Oh, forgot to mention a peak yesterday. My 3 grandsons in Illinois called me all happy and thanked me for their $25 each Target Gift card I sent them for Halloween along with some Halloween Star Wars stickers. :)

I have a super sense of direction tbh... I have a sat nav but I never use it unless I'm in a strange city and my destination is somewhere difficult to find... but only once did I have situation like yours.

Many years ago I went to a town I'd never visited to do some shopping..I parked in a multi storey car park about a 10 minute walk from the shopping centre... I remembered I'd parked on the 5th floor... and remembered the way back from the shops...and also took note that the car park closed at 6pm...

At about 20 to 6 I walked back made my way up to the 5th floor and it was completely empty...*yikes* I thought, I must have parked it on a different floor, so bearing in mind the time, and that very soon I won't be able to get out, I raced up and down different floors...all empty...no car...!! I had all sorts of visions of it having been stolen and me a long way from home , and it starting to get dark

I had about 6 minutes left, when I dashed outside to make sure I was in the right entrance or if there was another entrance somewhere only to discover there was an Identical multi storey car park right next door ( I mean WHAT???)...I jumped in the lift up to the 5th floor and there was my car sitting all on it's own...I made it out with about one minute to spare before they brought the shutters down.. *phew**

@Babs Hunt ..great news about your back...long may it continue.

I'm the one with the bad sense of direction in our family. I can go out my front door to go check the mail and still go the wrong way after all these years of living here.
