How many of you are aware of a little-known, well disguised law signed by President Reagan, involving our National Currency, our "money"? I have not found conclusive proof of it's official title, but it seems to have been begun in Congressional proceedings in 1980, I think it's final form was something like "Monetary Reform Act 1981". Unimportant details. What I recall of it IS important.

Open any bank account, checking, savings, etc., fine print reads "This institution may, at it's discretion, require a minimum of 30 days to honor any withdrawal request". Huh?? What about MAXIMUM number of days? Why, anyhow? Govt said to prevent "runs" on banks.

President is granted the power to suspend all banking activity in the United States. Any individual account may be "frozen" at the Feds' discretion.

Congress may introduce at any time, any new currency as deemed necessary, at any exchange rate it deems advisable. This is the BIG one. They now have the legal "right" to devalue our money at will, thus "stealing" it directly from the citizens. President Roosevelt actually did this, in a different way, by increasing the "value" of gold from $20 per ounce to $35 per ounce. Thus, he devauled the currency by $15 out of every $20, or 75%! In essence, 75% of Americans' money was "stolen". That was possible, because every dollar was "backed" by gold, guaranteed to be payable upon demand.

Today, no "backing" exists for the phony money. Now, legally, they can manipulate it in any way they want. Ultimately, "One World Money". As I said, the stakes in the game are astronomically high.

Sorry I ruffled your feathers, Chrissy. Of course, there must be plenty of Canadians who see things more realistically, just as there are many sides taken here. See, I could only speak of my experiences within the forum, which were pretty predictable. Unfortunately, I personally know no Canadians. My point was, FWIW, Canada has accepted loss of basic personal values and freedoms, in exchange for personal "safety".

You didn't ruffle my feathers, Frank. I'm just saying there are two sides to every story and the truth is somewhere in between.:)

I still can't imagine a one world power happening, there are too many people and differences in the world for it to even work.

I looked up Jade Helm and it seems that whatever the exercise was ended in Sept. Nobody took over Texas, etc.

The one world government was first started with NATO and then moved to the UN. The UN is not elected and appointed by the governments and then they rule over the governments that appointed them. The people that have been appointed have allied to big industries big chemicals and not to any government. They take about the new world government it is already here. This group have their own military that is used to control countries that step out of line like have private banks, want to sell oil with anything except US dollars, have large quantities of drugs like opium, or any country that refuses to let a oil pipeline through their country. They have many sub braches like the WHO that want to control medicine, World Bank who tries to get every country in debit so they can be controlled, the free trade deal that serve to keep everyone on the low end of the pay scale except for the owners.

Whenever some says, "I'm for free speech but..."
Or whenever someone says, "I'm in favor of the 2nd Amendment but..."
Then they are not in favor of these things.

In a Facebook thread the other day someone said that she was all in favor of free speech except when someone else is offended. Of course, she was offended by some of the answers that she received because she truly believed that she was being entirely reasonable. The truth, of course, is that no one can ever say anything worth listening to that isn't going to offend someone. In fact, I might be offended by people taking up my time and then not saying anything worth listening to. The only possible result from policies being put into place on that sort of reasoning is that someone is going to get to decide what is or is not offensive, and that person is then going to have all the power, whether it is a single person or a voting majority.

Here is a quote that aptly illustrates what I have just said:

"Freedom of speech of the individual citizen must be based on the four basic principles of insisting on the socialist road, the dictatorship of the proletariat, the leadership of the party, and Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong thought. The citizen has only the freedom to support these principles and not the freedom to oppose them." -- People's Republic of China prosecutor, during the Wei Jing-sheng case in 1979, in which defendent Wei, a human rights champion, cited the Chinese consitution guaranteeing free speech in his defense. He lost.

Okay, this is an old, old thread; but I have something new to add, and this seems like maybe the best place to add it.
(WARNING: Chrissy, hide your eyes, this thread is in the conspiracy part of the forum)

I just saw this video on youtube, and I think that this guy might actually have a good point, and something that none of have given any thought to up until now, at least I had not made any connection between the JadeHelm exercise and the devastation in Texas from Hurricane Harvey.
What this video is suggesting , if possibly true, is horrendous !
He thinks that the JH exercise back in 2015, which we all thought was a step towards one world government, is being implemented now by weather modification of this tragic hurricane.
I remember seeing the videos back from hurricane Katrina, of the soldiers going door to door, confiscating people's weapons, and having orders to shoot looters. It looks like they have already told the National Guard in Texas that they should shoot looters if they do not stop when told to, and the part of going house to house , searching for bodies, will probably be happening next, just like it did after Katrina.

    @Yvonne Smith
How other to restore "law & order" during and after natural catastrophe then to resort to "cattle herding"?

It seems the atmosphere during such pandemonium lures the previous, and new potential looters out of their shell of fear for retribution; they might not now "get caught". Shooting them imposes rigid incentive upon others considering such activity.

Consider thousands of previously everyday families displaced from their homes, wondering what, if anything, they may find upon returning. Then they finally go back, and if fortunate find their home again livable, except it has been stripped of those hard-earned things placed earlier. How must they feel?

Who should they turn to? L.E.? FEMA? Insurance Co.? How bad I feel viewing those images from Houston.....

What you are saying is correct, @Frank Sanoica . When there are disasters like this, we do need the government forces to step in and help out. Looters DO need to be stopped.
I can remember way back when I was little , and the Kootenai River would flood each spring, often putting the little town of Bonners Ferry mostly underwater when the river overflowed its banks.
They would send in the National Guard, with all of the manpower, and big trucks, and they would haul in sand, and help fill the sand bags that were put along the shore of the river to make the dikes higher and save the town.

The thing that concerns me here is not that we have government like FEMA and the National Guard, and Coast Guard helping with the devastation from the flooding.
The question here, (and this is why it was posted under conspiracy and not news) is what caused the disaster in the first place . There is a possibility that this flooding was caused, at least in part, by hot plasma beams shot into the hurricane to make it larger and stronger, as well as to guide it where they wanted it to go.
We have talked about HAARP weather modification before, and how they can cause earthquakes and hurricanes using the ELF waves.

Another reason that I question this disaster is because it seems like most of the tragedies that we have here (and sometimes in other countries) seem to always coincide with government or military drills for that same EXACT kind of emergency.
Even though the Jade Helm exercise was 2 years ago, that does not mean that it was not government preparations for this kind of a scenario, and in fact, they are having another series of drills that also deal with major breakdown of infrastructure, loss of power, and just about all of the other issues happening now in the flood zone. This exercise is called by the acronym of EARTH EX, and it started just before the hurricane came ashore, and goes into September.

Biblical prophecy states that in the end days the weather will get worse and in my opinion that is what we are seeing happening now. There have been devastating Hurricanes all along and in my opinion Harvey is just another one of those but along with the increasing wild fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. I definitely believe we are seeing Biblical end time prophecy happening right in front of us.

I think we definitely need "martial law" in times like Hurricane Harvey, etc. Louisiana's Cajun Navy went to help and rescue and they get shot at by looters. In cases like this those who are being shot at should be able to defend theirselves.

Jade Helm is for times such as this...but I still believe it is also preparation for a One World Government.

I don't know that weather conditions have gotten worse. Hurricanes have always been a threat to areas along the Gulf Coast and Atlantic, just as the Midwest and other parts of the country have always had to deal with tornadoes, and earthquakes have plagued the West Coast, and we have snow storms and blizzards in the North. I think the big change right now is that every major weather event is more widely hyped, and used as proof for any number of theories.

Some of you might remember Gabe Zolna, who has had a youtube channel for the last several years, with very conservative videos, and then recently just disappeared from Youtube.
I found that he now has a new website, www.zolnareport.com, and you can watch his new videos from the website.
he has just released this one, which compares what happened in Louisiana after hurricane Katrina, with what is apt to be happening next in Texas.
The re-homing of people who's homes were destroyed after Katrina, moved people into several other states, and I remember we even had some of them who were moved to southern Idaho. Others were given FEMA trailers to live in and some of them lived in these trailers for years afterwards.
An interesting contrast to the refugees that they have brought into this country, and who received money, a home, and usually a vehicle, while our own citizens are stuck in tiny trailers. What is up with that ?
Anyway, here is Zolna's video comparing the two storms and speculating about the aftermath of Harvey.

I think that Babs might well have a valid point with the weather issue. There certainly does seem to be a marked increase in the frequency...AND the severity of storms. And...not only in the United States... Should definitely be well worth maintaining the storm watch programme...
