No "worries"; just wasn't sure. It's popular, now for sure. Some folks make lots of money on the internet, these days.
I now have all the old fences pulled out of the front and back yard now; and the new fences and gates up; "whew", what a job that was. Only pulled one calf muscle and several scratches from briers and wire, yesterday I had my gloves on while working pulling fence, and wire went through work gloves and stabbed my right hand on the top. I thought, even with gloves. Last night it kept hurting badly, and swelling up, so I soaked it with salt water; then put an ice pack on it. Can't remember my last tetanus shot, maybe 30 years ago, I have to be more careful, at my age. Next is the greenhouse, then Marie's van. The list goes on.
You two are busy-busy!!! I feel like I need to take a nap just after reading how physically busy you and marie are! I get up pretty early and I can hustle at getting a lot of things done at that time, but my battery starts to get low by noon and I'm wore out and down for the count.
Can relate, to you Krystal, our battery goes out too; at times. We've always been energetic people, and see things needing to be done. I get tired just looking around to see, what has to be done.
Krystal we are both blessed with lots of energy and also I smoked all my life and if I stop it effects my breathing. I also fear the consequences of my addiction to cigs and it pushes me. A Bible verse I use is " whatever thy do, do with all thy might, there will be plenty of rest in the grave where thy goest." Of course I understand there is also no sense in pushing it till we hurry it up either. Also we get more ailments to add with what we have so that too makes us puch on, I guess?
New day here; time has been healing my soreness, from all the fencing, and it's time to get going at it again, today. Like I said in an earlier post, I have to repair the greenhouse, and then get going on Marie's van, bushings for the stabilizer bar, supposed to be here 1-6-25. Plants are in the greenhouse, hardening off, some are making it, some are not, but have more seeds, we can "start". Dogs are doing fine so far; no more "fights"; yet. Many other things need tending too, like charging all batteries for everything, running the boat motor, soon, checking all fluids in everything, tire pressures, etc.
Walk, clean house, maybe, pull a few vines. I'll get van ready for no carpet flooring. Been airing out particle boards for 2 weeks now, time to paint them and Jake to cut then to size. I'll put in small 1x1s frame for curtains. See what actually get's done.
Feel better in ribs and calf muscle, my hand is almost healed, not as swollen or soar as it was either. I was thinking yesterday as I was starting on these projects; I really need to get started on one of the old buildings, I'd built 27 years ago, for my tractor, to park in, and to work out of. I had built a long counter that goes 16 ft, beside one of the walls, in one of them to work off of, and injured my back then, so I've never even got to use it. The roof tin has blown off a little, so that will have to be repaired too. Tobacco and Rosie; my horse and Marie's donkey, were use building for their stalls for a few years, back when we first moved here; since then just been for storage use. It would be nice, to have a barn / shed, closer to the house, for vehicles, and the tractor, but who can afford that with everything over priced now.
I "know"; just thinking about it; I think Tony in his catch all thread, was talking about what he was having constructed; was a barn shed, right before he decided to leave the forum, due to medical problems; hope he's getting to enjoy it, and gets better.
Moved most stuff out of the greenhouse yesterday, and put fences around blueberry plants. Seedlings are not too perky looking, so far, not so sure they're gonna make the cut; "yet", will see. Moved all the lawn, and the tractor stuff, in the backyard; so they're out of the way for now. Got this for the truck to regulate the fuel pressure; so it will quit flooding, and filing my plugs. Someone had put an electric fuel pump on it and the pressure is too high. Very surprised how fast the regulator for the truck came, ordered "yesterday"; was here this morning. Ordered a stabilizer bar bushings, a few weeks ago, and still not here. Still not, "slowing down".
I had a 1959 Austin Healey someone put an electric fuel pump in (see my Avatar.) The back end was open to the cockpit and you could see the gas tank. If the fuel was low and I went around a corner, you could hear the pump suck air. I never thought about it pushing the gas too hard.
He changed it out a today. He'll tell you details when he gets back online. I cleaned the house, went through some things to give away' some clothes still have tags never worn, I lost too much weight to wear them. Other things like kitchen stuff I don't use.
