It's not primitive, tribal, or communal exactly, but when you live in a small town you at least have to learn to tolerate people who annoy you and, when you tolerate them, they often become less annoying. The person you flip off in traffic will be in line ahead of you at the grocery store, or at the next table in the restaurant. Calling the police on someone is all too often the opening volley in a long-lasting feud, or sometimes one of the last volleys, because they'll find out who reported them.
When I stop thinking for myself and not worry what is being bombarding us with so called information, is when I sign myself into a sanitarium.
"Too much" .... When doctors, politicians, drugdealers, educators, bankers, car salesmen, lawyers, even so-called 'advocated' desire money more than telling you the truth, not worrying how much harm they cause anyone daily unless it is a risk to their life or their job, then how much is "Too much" ? .... Listening to one word they say may be fatal, deadly, painful, cause a lifetime of illness, drain all your monetary resources and cause more debt.
I understand your frustrations with these types of people in all professions but thank goodness everyone isn't like that yet. I know society seems to have gotten worse though. I feel like its easier to be hard when you've lived in such a great society considering how bad many society's have it ,if this were not true so many wouldn't want to come here. People use to have compassion because they knew what real labor and hardship was like. Now we are spoiled.
This is one of the many benefits to a robust, well-managed immigration system. We benefit from being around those who can refresh our sense of gratitude.
John I have to somewhat disagree on this one. Only a small minority of immigrants work like they use to. Before they had to feed their own families, no welfare, food stamps or free food pantry's in every community. Who is now working the hardest and being paid less than before are the working middle class and poor Americans. Ever read the poem about Joe legal and Jose Illegal? They come here expect us to learn their language while we feed their large families. Now we wait months to see a dentist or some doctors. They have dozens of lobbies helped by the seditious leaders. Mencha, Univision. 1000s of catholic charities, LA-RAZA aka The Race. What does the white man have besides hate groups persecuting him and his. Our ancestors came sawed down trees manually ,built their homes from raw wood and worked farms and ranches. Most Americans never saw a slave much less owned one like the agenda promoting liars tell everyone. Slaves mostly owned by the rich Carpetbaggers. No I know its over for this nation and like they say' our kids will work in their fields' be here in Atzlan but I can't do anything about it but admit America is gone to the third world and it even is looking and acting as such. Or what if its the end of time or war kills us all so who knows 'que sera sera'.

I agree. That's why I said "well-managed." Of course letting in more of The Dependent Class serves no good. I should have elaborated. Regarding the rest...I guess that's what happens when folks want every successive generation to "have it better." Folks on this forum appreciate what we've got because we had to work for it. Some younger people seem to be spoiled to their own detriment...when you have so much and you've not earned any of it, nothing satisfies.
This too is true but you can't tell the parents of this new generation. I've had to remind my own kids who they are talking to and they are in their early 50s. Decipline is lacking now in many ways. Its a shame you can't even whip a kids butt now [ which if they know you will, you seldom have to]. My kids knew I would so I seldom had to use the switch. What really gets to me is seeing dumb Americans going to comedy hour where they tell them they are poisoning them and their families. And the toons laughing about it. Huge auditorium is packed with these suckers who paid $50 to be insulted. One famous one I won't mention his name jokes about the few who work in the fields reaching in their pants wiping their butts then rubbing it all over the lettuce. So you or you child got hepatitis .well that is just too funny. Nobody appreciates things like they use to. Lots of my family were construction workers.I don't have anything agaisnt anyone, just feed your own don't defend your cartel relatives and come here legal.
The usa is reaping what it sowed in the first half of the last century. While it 'looked' good to many, it was too much deception at the time, too many lies, too many trusting flesh, pleasing the flesh, seeking power or money and not trusting God and not even knowing, let alone practicing, the truth.
