Just delivered to my apartment as all meals have been since the Stay at Home business.
The Trout with Veggies &Pilaf was super as was the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Desert. The wine is mine and its Chenin Blanc.

My Dermatologist gave me a nice two pound box of See's Dark Chocolates on my last appointment for starting Radiation treatments on my back for the Basal Cells. The two spots on my back will take 17 appointments of 5 minutes each. Because I take a Blood Thinner he prefers Radiation to Surgery. He gave me a box of chocolates several months ago when I started treatments to my temple and forehead. Going to doctors is my great Social Activity.

Best of luck Lon and enjoy the chocolates.A great antioxidant for health.
We have a chocolate factory about twenty miles from here the grow the fruit and than get the seeds out and process them right there.

I think that is wonderful, @Martin Alonzo . Is is common to have the trees that have chocolate seeds in the Dominican Republic, and is the fruit also edible, or just using the seeds ? How do you process the seeds ?

You are welcome into the factory and look around. The trees are all around the factory I will see if I have a picture later. The fruit looks like a gourd and it grows all over the tree. I don't know if anyone eats the fruit but the seeds are separated and dried in the sun, then roasted in a furnace after ground, Then squeezed to get what they call manteca de cacao translated to cocoa butter great for chapped skin. The rest goes on for further processing ending up as chocolates. The factory also sells the seeds roasted with a sugar coating, wine made from chocolate also wines of many different things like passion fruit, a Dominican cheery, pitaya [dragon fruit] I also buy the raw chocolate beans after roasting they are a little bitter but very high antioxidant. If anyone comes to visit we will go to the factory. Found a picture on line

Yummy, I love dark chocolate. Good luck with the treatments, Lon. Maybe the dermatologist wants your face to break out so you'll need return visits. :D

For the chocolate lovers like me. I brought back some pure chocolate power from the factory it was so nasty that I could not eat it but knew it was a high antioxidant. Finally I tried a teaspoon in my black coffee and found it was not bad. So I started using it up and found a nice surprise all my liver spots on my hands started to fade away. I have always taken supplement of selenium to help for anti-oxidant
