I’ve eaten Thai but do not remember the experience. Your dinner looks good?

Thai food can be all over the place.

I've had some that is reasonably hot, and I've had some that I absolutely could not eat...and I like "extra spicy" foods.

I find their use of mint and basil to be interesting.

I like the "mild" versions. Can't handle the spicy ones.

I don't know if it was Thai that I had years ago and it didn't look anything like your meal. It was a time I wanted to try ethic foods unfortunately my menu choice though it looked and smelled good it wasn't the best choice.

I’ve never heard of strawberries and rhubarb cooked together but it sounds very nice

We have just finished a bowl stewed rhubarb / apple mix both home grown by me

I cook a big pot of it and eat it on our breakfast cereal / and evening meals with ice cream till it’s used up ...this lot lasted 5 days ....However when I first cook it hubby likes nice freshly cooked custard with his while it’s still warm

In another life, I might like rhubarb. As this one is, I can't stand it!

Reason: At around nine years old, I walked this girl home from school. She had rhubarb plants growing around her house. They were huge! We pulled some stalks out, hosed them, and started munching. Unfortunately for me, I guess I left a micro amount of the deadly poisonous leaves on what I was consuming. I soon became ill, went home, and spent the night in the bathroom, sitting and kneeling. 'Nuff said ......

Only Asian food we did like was from Panda Express. However, way to much of what we like is full of sugar and, being Diabetic II, we simply can't have that much sugar.

I remember, some years ago, the department I was working in, had a luncheon at a Brazilian Restaurant in Denver, Colorado. The lunch was terrific and so was what I was given to drink. The drink had some type of alcohol in it and was very, very good.

It's Slow Roasted Pork Tenderloin with White Rice, Plum Sauce and Glazed Carrots. I did not like the listed Dinner Offerings and just had Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch.

I guess most of us here remember life before microwaves. All those pots & pans...

What a magical thing they are.

Good move planning you dinner like that, Lon. It sounds like they served a heavy lunch.

I think they need to offer vegan options for every meal.
