It was funny when Putin said we gave 400 million dollars to the Hilliary's politico campaign it was not in any news feeds. The news has a one track mind if Putin offered Trump one dollar it would have been a bribe but 400 million dollars is not mention.

I think that the Russians probably did meddle in our election and try to sway the results.

IMO the best thing to do about such meddling by the Russians is to remain vigilant and when they breach a firewall, fix the weak spot and remain silent about it. The Russians are by nature tricksters and they like to play rough and tumble pranks, they feed off of the noise and the flap created by the media and the politicians in Washington. The absolute worst thing that we can do to them is to ignore their efforts and make them wonder if we even noticed the meddling.

I don't think that dealing with Russia will ever be any different. IMO we need to remain cordial and business-like in our dealings with Russia while checking and double checking everything we do with them every step of the way. IMO the Russians will have more respect for us if we take their jabs in stride and not make a fuss every time we catch them pulling a dirty trick on us.

I have gotten from several sources now that the Russians thought they were putting Hillary in a compromised position but they never dreamed that Trump would win the election. Putin apparently holds a grudge against the Clintons for NATO expansion into Russian prevue, Syria, etc. Trump did seem to act a bit submissive at the press conference with Putin, although I didn't see the entire thing so context might be a factor. I can't explain the subdued mien; it wasn't typical of Trump in view of how he has acted toward other national leaders.

If Russia was the result Trump wining . We better just give up now. If the Russians could control thousands of people not to go to a Hillary rally and instead go to a Trump rally by the thousands if they had that power we might as well just give up and stop complaining. That is what the Democrats want you to believe.

Russians didn't control anyone. They simply put ads on Facebook, etc. and were given inside info on the DNC by an insider who was disgusted by what was happening to his party.

Could it be they are on the same side fighting the deep state. Putin has been fighting this fight for years and Trump is just a new comer but has more power. Go Trump and Putin

President Obama speaks on the US response to Russian hacking, which was, of course, considered by one and all to be the correct response.

What we are seeing here is feigned outrage, intended to distract us from the facts, as we have learned them, which is that our own intelligence agencies interfered with the 2016 presidential election and have continued to disrupt the Trump presidency ever since.

I think there is more than feigned outrage, Ken. Much of it is very real. There are veiled threats of mass resignations (true, rumors only), but I was disappointed that Trump was totally outmaneuvered by Putin. I guess Trump isn't the deal maker he thought he was, but I thought he had dealt with Russia before as a private citizen. He expected a warmer response from Putin and didn't get it. I agree he shouldn't blindly trust the intelligence community that is "out to get him", but he should keep most of that distrust private. Now we will have to see what this leads Putin to do to further test Trump, and what Trump will try to do to recover from his greatest faux pas to date.

His performance after meeting with Putin was no weaker than that of any other US president who met with the man. The hacking, if it even occurred, was done on Obama's watch. His response was to tell Putin to "cut it out," and then to declare that he had solved the problem. Yes, it's feigned outrage, and it would have occurred regardless of what Trump may have said or done. Had he spoken strongly about Putin during a joint press conference, he would have been accused of being unprofessional. They would have said that this should have been done in private, not during a joint press conference. So yes, it is feigned outrage by those who are always looking for reasons to be outraged over whatever it is that Trump says or does.

I don't think it was weaker than Obama/Clinton or G.W. Bush, but everyone was expecting Reagan and they got Obama instead. The sincere outrage is from his supporters, not his detractors. More was expected, but he came off as weaker than expected.

Speaker Mike Johnson said the Democrats under Biden are dispersing the illegals all over the nation and are getting them drivers licenses. Under the Motor-Voter act pushed by the Dems, all they have to do to register to vote is check a box, and it is actually illegal under Federal law for the states to ask for proof of citizenship. I guess the Democrats have had this election interference thing in the works for many years now. They can also cross state lines and register in multiple states as the is no mechanism in place to determine how many states you are registered in. My son received mail-in ballots from Alaska, Minnesota, and Nebraska at one point. He could have voted three times but didn't. Illegals may be getting instructions, along with the Democrat cabal, to vote as many times as possible.

Russiagate and Russian Election Interference is coming back. Why do you think this is so? Is it because A) the Dems and the media are into recycling, so they are dusting off the old stories for recycling and to save the intellectual resources that are needed to come up with new conspiracies, B) Harris is so far behind in the polls that they need to come up with a justification for censorship to keep the truth form the electorate, or C) They believe that they they are the only ones entitled to lie, and they are trying to silence the competition? What do you think???
