Trump To Stand Criminal Trial

The thing is, when the trial started, we just “thought” he was already politically motivated to hang Trump, now we know for sure !
If the Georgia AG doesn’t take a look at things then we know he’s in on it too and just as crooked.

Maybe I was a little too quick to judge the judge.

Yeah some others have expressed similar thoughts. This judge is acting somewhat like the Special Prosecutor Robert Hur in the Biden case. He didn't want to destroy his career completely, but wanted to get the information out that everything is bad and the action should be taken, but he lacked the courage to do it himself. I've got to say that, although I haven't attended a lot of trials, I have never seen anyone talk to a judge the way Wilis did on the stand. She should have been held in contempt if nothing else.

 

Lest we forget, Fani has a ”working history” with the judge.

 

Now Alvin Bragg in NYC is trying to get Trump jailed for contempt for speaking under a gag order imposed by the judge while the judge has allowed Trump's accusers to spout all they want. Talk is that Trump will attend his son's high school graduation in defiance in of the DA, and will be turned into Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King as he may be jailed for political reasons. This could really get interesting. Riots in the Blue cities rage over Palestine, and Chicago was shut down yesterday supposedly by protestors. I believe the Democratic Convention is scheduled for August of 2024. Does anyone remember 1968 and the Democrat Convention held that year?

 

Funny but you would think that these are the worst days we've ever experienced not if you get arrested while waiting for a crosswalk.

 

I didn't think the nation would survive 1968. Now I wonder if it will survive 2024.

So many words, so little meaning in much of it.
Of course our country will survive 2024 regardless of the election outcomes. Hell, we survived 4 years of the worst and most chaotic reign of the former occupant. Those crazy, out of control and misguided four years proved to me that our country is strong enough and smart enough and solid enough to survive just about anything- even tRump.

And the far out there politicians on all sides will lose their attraction and the country will continue on its middle of road, let's just make it work path. After all, for politicians of all stripes, the more discord and strife they can kick up, the better for them in keeping their phony-baloney jobs.

I was kinda sorta under arrest in 68 too. I was in the custody of the United States Army.
And to the question….I not only do not remember the convention, I barely remember who that low dow military escalating creator of the Great society President who held office before Nixon was.

 

I remember the cheers breaking out when he said he would not run again.

 

I saw that Trump was cheered in Harlem yesterday when he visited the shop where the man shot a person who was assaulting him and robbing his store then was arrested and charged by the very same DA who is now persecuting Trump. Even children there were cheering "Four more years!". Kinda like Palm Sunday, but Jesus didn't have the Secret Service guarding him.

Mr. Alaska- with all due respect to your opinion in your statement, "Kinda like Palm Sunday, but Jesus didn't have Secret Service..."- comparing the former occupant to Jesus is perhaps one of the worst and most perverse comparisons I've ever heard.

Jesus spoke to help others, to guide others, and he spoke the truth. None of that applies to the former occupant. He speaks to hurt others, to lead others down the wrong way, and he NEVER speaks the truth.

There's nothing comparable to these two individuals.

What about this jury selection going on?? Surely there is some in power in NYC to help Trump get a fair trial Maybe there is no one in power there that can help, but this is so against our laws and constitution the way some are getting on that jury that are absolutely against our laws and constitution. I guess I have to remember that NYC decided they were going to allow illegals to vote, weren't they the first Sanctuary city to do that?

I just can't believe the true patriots of the U.S. don't outnumber the anti-americans which is exactly what a person is if they don't believe in our laws/constitution. I am so surprised we haven't actually drawn the line and started physically coming to blows with the left. Did we get too comfy to become real fighters. Oh I know we are old, and not well enough to fight, but I seem to recall some history that calls bullshit of that excuse.

Ms. Evans- From some of your recent posts you seem to be eager to encourage physical confrontation and violence in support of your beliefs. Perhaps you have not been a participant in physical confrontations- call it fights, war, whatever- but I assure you that physically fighting is a very poor way to settle differences and come to a reasonable solution of problems. But perhaps again you are not interested in coning to a reasonable solution of differences.

We have seen- the invasion of Congress by the band of thugs and traitors encouraged by the former occupant's words- is a prime example- of how physical violence is NOT a rational form of political discourse.

It's much better to talk and think than to strike and cause damage or be damaged.

And while I am old, I am still capable of defending myself in most cases, but I have become wiser with age to see physical violence as a very poor choice of behavior.
