Prophecy... well no. Not from false prophets the Bible warns about. No. Prophecy from the Bible itself, yes.
I cannot deny that I am not a bit intrigued but I also look at prophecy with a lot of apprehension. With the exception of John's revelation of Jesus Christ, just about every Biblical prophecy was pretty much clear cut. When I look back at the posts thus far I see a lot of questions being asked which brings me to that realm of closely examining the prophecy itself. Unlike Biblical prophecy, it is not clear. The prophets of old had to be specific as in: If you do not do this, or if you do that, or when this happens that will happen. The clarity of a prophetic word was paramount for if a prophet was found in error even once, he could face death. I have found self proclaimed prophets all over the world and while there might be "some" who totally depend on Holy Spirit inerrancy and clarity I, thus far, have found none beyond those who apply their foretelling based on analytical processes which might be construed as a gift in itself for indeed another definition of prophecy is the ability to "understand and see".
I just like to see if those who speak "prophesy" will get it right or not. Prophecy is pretty much like anything else...it's either true or false and will be proven so one way or the other.
Trump better get a lot of trust worthy protection. He is saying that he will bring out the papers on 911 which they would not release. He also said they lied about weapons of mass destruction to attack Iraq. He said you will learn just who was behind 911. I think these are thinks people what to know , what is the truth that for years the government will not say.
I have said it before...Trump can be his own worst enemy! I just hope it doesn't end up costing him his life.
The Chicago Sun Times ran a story saying that staffers have said that Cruz plans to drop out of the race soon, but I haven't seen anyone else carry the story except for a few blogs, one of which suggested he was going to focus on the legal challenge over his right to be president, given his Canadian birth and former Canadian citizenship. Also, Rubio has missed his last two scheduled campaign stops. Of course, Rubio misses his scheduled Senate votes on a regular basis so his problem may simply be one of truancy.
I just heard Melanie Trump speak for the first time, I did know that she wasn't born here but I was surprised she had an accent. That doesn't bother me at all but do you think it will other Americans? A First Lady with an accent.
I've heard her talk before, so knew about the accent. With her looks and accent, she'll win over other world leaders. That's a plus. As far as a First Lady with an accent, I don't think it should bother Americans. After all this seems to be the year of Firsts... JMO
A couple of the pundits that I have heard this morning have offered up a probable stay for Cruz at least until Nevada. The thing that worries me concerning the truancy of Rubio is that it doesn't seem that anyone cares. We knew the record of Obama and his habitual no vote but at least he gave an offering of "present". That still doesn't cut the mustard so far as getting the job done that he was hired to do. And of course we know his work record regarding the White House and it seems that not enough people have cared about that to matter. If a running candidate is not doing his present job, why is he even being considered a good candidate for the presidency? I have had a couple thousand employees in my life and most of them extremely competent but even if an employee was ultra-fantastic while he was at work, if he was a no show, no call person I have a staunch rule concerning his future employment. I am super confused as to why the American public is so lax on that type work record.
John Quincy Adams, our 6th president married Catherine in 1797. She was from merry old England. I'd have to do a little checking but if one were to get reeeaaaallllll picky about it, the 1st 7 presidents nor their wives were born in the U.S. And yes, from an older gentlemans point of view, Melanie is very easy on the eyes and might even have a little class.
