Wowzers, after reading all this, I'm really glad that I didn't check into how to watch that thing online! It would have just upset me. You'd think that at least one of them would have realized how bad it's making them look.

Rubio pushed Trump's hand away... not wise! Ugh. Illuminati?! Has this come to the media's attention before now (I mean is it something you've heard before or just noticed for the first time?) If so, I'm totally out of that loop because I haven't heard it. Can't say it would surprise me. My.

Bottom line, I always liked Carson, too... if only he'd appeared more presidential through all this mess.

My husband was a Mason, Yvonne and I've never heard of that, I know they had a secret handshake though.

Are you sure Rubio pushed Trump's had away? Maybe his mind was elsewhere. I did noticed that Rubio was the first to reach out to Trump at the end while still at the podium and shook his hand. I was thinking how nice it was. He also shook Carson's hand to his other side. Again, Rubio was the initiator of the handshake.

There are degrees of Mason's, Chrissy, and I am by no means saying that they are all bad. However, the best place to hide a secret society would be inside another secret society. The ones at the bottom would know very little about what went on in the higher levels, just because it was a secret society.
From what I have read about freemasonry (and I am far from an expert), it was simply used as a coverup for the illuminati , and only the most trusted members were ever allowed into that part of the society.
Many of our President have been Mason's, and also famous men throughout history, and a lot of the portraits show them with their hand tucked inside their shirt or jacket.
There are other symbols used for secret communication, and one odd one is to show part of the leg, or even to tap the leg. I think usually the left leg.
I just finished reading a very interesting book about the historical beginning of the United States, and how much the Mason's were involved with that. It is called "And the First Shall be Last" , by Rob Skiba.

All I know is he was a 33 degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite and the Knights Templar.

Well, well, well. Governor Chris Christie announced today that he is endorsing Trump. If Trump wins the nomination, hmm, I wonder if he'll choose Christie as his running mate.

    I would like that!

But Trump needs to think long and hard as to who will help him the most get in the White House.

It's sort of doubtful if Trump would pick Christie as VP but I do see a future for him as Attorney General. Christie is too close to Trump's personality in order to make things work. Trump needs a level headed, calm person to balance the scales in the White House.

The person I am really watching for is Mike Huckabee. He's stayed out of the picture since his suspension but he does know the ins and outs of the political arena and that is what Trump said he wanted in a VP.

With Christie endorsing Trump and a run with Huckabee it would take up a lot of split votes that might have gone to other candidates.

The Christie/Trump team is Rubio's worst nightmare. Rubio apparently spent the day today being Trumps worst nightmare as well.

Now it's really bothering me. This insult-a-thon is going too far.

I wouldn't put it past Trump to "hint" at maybe making Christie his VP and I wouldn't put it past Christie to think if he can't get in the White House one way, why not try another way. If Christie was to become VP and something happened to the President...Christie would still end up where he wanted to be from the start.

Since the debate in Houston last week, the TV ads for the candidates has picked up immensely around here. ...probably for Tuesday's voting.
But really ugly ones have started popping up more and more. It's going to be a long summer.

I am not a Cruz apologist, but I think that's a Texas thing. When I was at the Alamo, nearly everyone there was doing that. I think it is supposed to signify greater reverence by placing the hand closer to the heart. I know that it's also a Masonic thing but I think it's a Texas tradition too.

It was a day in Huntsville/Madison, Alabama this last Sunday. (yesterday)
The D. Trump rally was supposed to start at 4 but didn't until a little after 4:30 PM. but was nonetheless received well by about 30K or so supporters. The number of supporters was played down by some of the media saying that it was "fewer than what was reported by the fire marshal" , while the media treated Rubio's rally on Saturday with a "the crowd was larger than expected". In fact, the Rubio rally on Saturday only had about 8K which wasn't even a quarter of those at the Trump event. Every race, creed, age group, and gender (whatever) was there and generally having a good time.

Cruz didn't have a rally in Alabama because he needs the Ga. delegates which outnumber Alabama so he thought that this state wasn't crucial enough to poke his head in. Let's see how that plays out.

Back to Trump. Sen. Sessions endorsed Trump which is a big (Donaldesque) thing in the SEC but now Sessions is being given the hard nose by other GOP main stream establishment particularly in the Cruz camp. Cruz thought that he was going to garner the endorsement because like Trump, Sessions helped him with his immigration plan.

Besides the normal hecklers there were quite a few Black panthers out there but the cops and the secret service had them pretty much surrounded after one small altercation broke out. Also infiltrating the event were the Black Lives matter folks, a couple of which got thrown out for trying to disrupt the rally. Other than that, I don't believe there were any other major problems.

All in all, it turned out to be a good event with the exception of the number of extra "toilet facilities" on the site.
The local gossip says that Rubio rented all of the porta pottys and they had to fix one up in order for there to be at least one more facility other than the normal stadium bathrooms.
Needless to say, I doubt if all of the "dancing" was politically motivated.

I find the national anthem moving, and I have noticed that I do the same thing. I'm not affiliated with any secret organization. I've seen others mentioning the 'hand thing' on Twitter, but I wasn't sure what they meant. I think @Ken Anderson could be right about it being a Texas (and patriotic) thing, rather than signifying something secret.
