Yesterday, there was a post on Twitter which said that President Obama has now claimed that he refuses to leave office should Donald Trump be elected president. This was apparently reported on CNN. We have never had a situation where a sitting president has refused to leave after finishing his terms as President. I imagine that he is just talking; but still, I wonder what would happen if he did refuse to step down and leave office. How would they remove him ? Possibly, he could even get away with doing this. If he refused to leave office, and there were any kind of riots, then he could declare a national emergency, impose martial law, and remain in office. Scary, scary thought.......
some of us may be affected and some may not. But I wouldn't be too sure about "business as usual" no matter who is elected.
Hi Yvonne, I went into that article, saw it on Facebook. The "said" obama said that but I didn't "hear" him say it so again, he said she said. I don't know for sure. Anyone can sign up for fb or twitter and use any name they want too If martial law were called he could stay in office, I've heard that as well.
as people are being killed left and right (no pun intended) I can't believe someone hasn't tried to kill obama, hillary, or trump. We've had assassinations in our history for a lot less than what I see happening
Now, @Ren Tanner , you know you will be getting a much different reception to that question here than (an unmentioned forum) elsewhere ! Although I do hope that Trump will be able to help get this nation back on track again, there is no way that he can do miracles, and it is not going to happen overnight, even if he can. I am sure that the fight will not end with his election, since the globalists are not going to give up attacking him. The only thing that is likely to change for us is if he makes things better for low-income people and for seniors. I am actually more concerned what we will have to do different with our life if Trump is NOT elected. With most of our freedoms already threatened by the last few years of Obama-life; we would be well on the way to becoming even poorer and losing more freedom should Hillary take office. Truthfully, I think that she might not even make it long enough to be elected; but even if she were, Tim Kaine would probably be the effective President, or some other part of the shadow government who is already controlling her. Good question though. At least we know that Trump also believes in the health benefits of prune juice......
There was already an assassination attempt on Trump. There was a guy caught in an elevator in Trump Tower by his security with a pistol with no serial number and a silencer the man had the finger prints of a dead FBI agent who was killed by a bullet in the shoulder? As soon as it was discovered he was disappeared. Then the story got all confused Snoops who already had a story prepared came out saying no that was not the guy he was in the street a retired policeman who was working as a security guard. So the whole thing got covered up. The fellow in the street was probably going to be the patsy and take the blame for the death. Check history only good leader get killed not bad presidents.
LOL, it's amazing how I for one closed my eyes to this nincumpoop remaining in office. But yes, he's been a busy boy although I see him as being a lover of many other things, and especially peoples, much more than then the United States of America. Like I said before, I'll just speak for me, but I got in near what I hope is the "end" of his story, better late than never.
