At one point in the video, after the beating is over, one of the cops calls into dispatch to ask where the "stabbing victim" was taken to. I don't know if this was a wholly unrelated case that he might have just come from before this incident, or somehow related. I have been tempted to ignore a lot of people over the years but she has never been one of them.
My point is why didn't the news first release the photos in uniforms since they were in uniform when the beating took place? Why did they release those photos that made them look a lot less happy and professional than the uniform photos?
It is wierd how they just stopped this man to kill him. Or that he would have put up such a struggle if just going home 100 yards from where they stopped him and killed him.
Seemed those cops were out of shape, and the young man was fairly strong and in shape. He got away from them and ran. Plus he was a skateboarder living with his mother and step father6 months prior to his job at Federal Express, he'd only been working 6 months when he was killed. His step father said in an interview that he told Tyre, "You have a 4 yr old son its time you put up the skate board and get a job". Video from Savage Nation website, there are 2 more at the site. Clearest one I've seen yet from first stop and chase. The other one at the site. Very clear and the only one I've seen where they really did beat him baton, and kicking him in the head, holding him up while another hit him with fist with all he had, about to change my mind on this one.Its a polo video.
In truth and honesty, the first photos of them I saw were in uniform. Yesterday. None of this means all that much, not as much as the idealized photos [EDIT: *of*] Nichols. And in fact, he *may* have been OK. We just don't know yet, but much of the media wants us to decide *right now*. [EDIT - added] I mean, there's only one *right* answer on this, right...
Personally, I think that these are legitimate speculations. The story, as presented this far, makes little sense. Think about it: FIVE cops for a traffic stop, and I learned today that two sheriffs' officers were on the scene as well. I want to be fair to all, Nichols too. We need much more information before we can conclude anything, and yet almost all news stories are driving opinion in only one direction: public outrage at the police. ..and some are buying it, hook, line, and sinker.
A person posted on Twitter today that she knew one of the officers involved, and that Nichols was involved with the wife of one of the officers, and they were looking for him. I have not seen anymore information about this, and even if true, it seems to me that it makes the situation worse for the officers involved, because then the attack could have been premeditated to some extent.
29. From what I read he had just started his first job so wonder who was supporting his 4 year old child?,
A whole new take if this is true. Reminds me of connection in Floyd case, him and Chavin were bouncers together at a club or something like that?
